Been a nice day so far, started it off with breakfast with the family. Then we were off and running up the hill to Apple Hill California. It's 50+ growers with farms and almost all of them have crafts, food and just some good times. We go for the fresh apple cider and apple donut's that are so damn good and today were still warm when we bought them. We always get apples to cook with and just eat. Today we got about five + lbs and plan to get more next time we go. We will make about 4-5 trips up there before the end of the season. You can find lots of great stuff there like, apple butter, jelly and jam, fudge, apple cider, apple pies and lots of crafts. Last year we found a few great gifts there because you have just about every kind of crafter you can think of. It was fun today and will be just as fun as the colder weather starts to move in.
I hope everyone is having a good Labor Day. It's so nice to sit back and rest every once in a while, but we all need to get right back to work on our preps ASAP. So enjoy this weekend, I have but remember our time is short and we need to keep up our prepping.
