Slow Day Today

Not much going on today. I will get a little bit of work done in the shop and make a few more Slinky Antenna's and some leather Ren-Faire gear. I do woodworking and leather work and love both. I have a few projects in the planning stage. One is a mag holder for my ten round mini-14 and the other is a leather tactical scabbard for the mini-14 so I can keep it on my back but be able to get to it quick. I may even try to make a few belt bags for other gear.
But today I am just going slow and not doing a lot of anything. I may bag up the rice, beans, oats and grits I bought at the store the other day. I love a good reason to break out the food saver and bag up some items. Next week I plan to do a full day of bagging up food, and I would like to get ten more 5 gal buckets full of good food items. I know that food is going to get higher and higher in price so I am stocking up now so I can eat later. I sure don't want to be standing in a FEMA food line hoping to get a mouth full of food in trade you will get a FRID Implant and all the flu shots you need. NOT FOR ME, NO SIR!!!!!!
I make my stand now, I store food, water, guns, ammo and survival gear and tools so I can stand and fight as a free man after the collapse. How do you or will you stand when and after the collapse hits? Life goes on.....Will you?

Test Run For "SHTF"

I have been thinking about running a test run for "SHTF" event. Take three days in a row and running a test with no water, power and only live on storage foods and water. I have even been thinking about doing the whole week, that's seven days of no power or running water and do a mini bug out test to our retreat location. I have been talking about this with a friend who I am working out a deal to use there land as a back up bug out location. They have a great place about 60 miles away from any big city. I think the town near them is about 10 miles away and has about 800 people in it. I would love to get out and cook with the cast iron and put the dutch ovens to good use. I don't know why people cook inside because the food you can cook in and with a dutch oven is so damn good. I plan to buy two more to have in a SHTF event they are the best. I use Lodge and have for years and if you take care of them they will last forever.
If you guys have any ideas for a test run or a good bug out scenario post it and let me know. And if you have ever done this before tell me how it went and what I need to look for.

And keep your eye's open I am about to run a great contest with a hand full of good items to give away. Just check back soon.

10 Practical Steps That You Can Take To Insulate Yourself (At Least Somewhat) From The Coming Economic Collapse

Posted By kurtnimmo On August 26, 2010

Most Americans are still operating under the delusion that this “recession” will end and that the “good times” will return soon, but a growing minority of Americans are starting to realize that things are fundamentally changing and that they better start preparing for what is ahead. These “preppers” come from all over the political spectrum and from every age group. More than at any other time in modern history, the American people lack faith in the U.S. economic system. In dozens of previous columns, I have detailed the horrific economic problems that we are now facing in excruciating detail. Many readers have started to complain that all I do is “scare” people and that I don’t provide any practical solutions. Well, not everyone can move to Montana and start a llama farm, but hopefully this article will give people some practical steps that they can take to insulate themselves (at least to an extent) from the coming economic collapse.
But before I get into what people need to do, let’s take a minute to understand just how bad things are getting out there. The economic numbers in the headlines go up and down and it can all be very confusing to most Americans.
However, there are two long-term trends that are very clear and that anyone can understand….
#1) The United States is getting poorer and is bleeding jobs every single month.
#2) The United States is getting into more debt every single month.
When you mention the trade deficit, most Americans roll their eyes and stop listening. But that is a huge mistake, because the trade deficit is absolutely central to our problems.
Every single month, Americans buy far, far more from the rest of the world than they buy from us. Every single month tens of billions of dollars more goes out of the country than comes into it.
That means that every single month the United States is getting poorer.
The excess goods and services that we buy from the rest of the world get “consumed” and the rest of the world ends up with more money than when they started.
Each year, hundreds of billions of dollars leave the United States and don’t return. The transfer of wealth that this represents is astounding.
But not only are we bleeding wealth, we are also bleeding jobs every single month.
The millions of jobs that the U.S. economy is losing to China, India and dozens of third world nations are not going to come back. Middle class Americans have been placed in direct competition for jobs with workers on the other side of the world who are more than happy to work for little more than slave labor wages. Until this changes the U.S. economy is going to continue to hemorrhage jobs.
The U.S. government has helped to mask much of this economic bleeding by unprecedented amounts of government spending and debt, but now the U.S. national debt exceeds 13 trillion dollars and is getting worse every single month. Not only that, but state and local governments all over America are getting into ridiculous amounts of debt.
So, what we have got is a country that gets poorer every single month and loses jobs to other countries every single month and that has accumulated the biggest mountain of debt in the history of the world which also gets worse every single month.
Needless to say, this cannot last indefinitely. Eventually the whole thing is just going to collapse like a house of cards.
So what can we each individually do to somewhat insulate ourselves from the economic problems that are coming?….
1 - Get Out Of Debt: The old saying, “the borrower is the servant of the lender”, is so incredibly true. The key to insulating yourself from an economic meltdown is to become as independent as possible, and as long as you are in debt, you simply are not independent. You don’t want a horde of creditors chasing after you when things really start to get bad out there.
2 - Find New Sources Of Income: In 2010, there simply is not such a thing as job security. If you are dependent on a job (“just over broke”) for 100% of your income, you are in a very bad position. There are thousands of different ways to make extra money. What you don’t want to do is to have all of your eggs in one basket. One day when the economy melts down and you are out of a job are you going to be destitute or are you going to be okay?
3 – Reduce Your Expenses: Many Americans have left the rat race and have found ways to live on half or even on a quarter of what they were making previously. It is possible – if you are willing to reduce your expenses. In the future times are going to be tougher, so learn to start living with less today.
4 – Learn To Grow Your Own Food: Today the vast majority of Americans are completely dependent on being able to run down to the supermarket or to the local Wal-Mart to buy food. But what happens when the U.S. dollar declines dramatically in value and it costs ten bucks to buy a loaf of bread? If you learn to grow your own food (even if is just a small garden) you will be insulating yourself against rising food prices.
5 – Make Sure You Have A Reliable Water Supply: Water shortages are popping up all over the globe. Water is quickly becoming one of the “hottest” commodities out there. Even in the United States, water shortages have been making headline news recently. As we move into the future, it will be imperative for you and your family to have a reliable source of water. Some Americans have learned to collect rainwater and many others are using advanced technology such as atmospheric water generators to provide water for their families. But whatever you do, make sure that you are not caught without a decent source of water in the years ahead.
6 – Buy Land: This is a tough one, because prices are still quite high. However, as we have written previously, home prices are going to be declining over the coming months, and eventually there are going to be some really great deals out there. The truth is that you don’t want to wait too long either, because once Helicopter Ben Bernanke’s inflationary policies totally tank the value of the U.S. dollar, the price of everything (including land) is going to go sky high. If you are able to buy land when prices are low, that is going to insulate you a great deal from the rising housing costs that will occur when the U.S dollar does totally go into the tank.
7 – Get Off The Grid: An increasing number of Americans are going “off the grid”. Essentially what that means is that they are attempting to operate independently of the utility companies. In particular, going “off the grid” will enable you to insulate yourself from the rapidly rising energy prices that we are going to see in the future. If you are able to produce energy for your own home, you won’t be freaking out like your neighbors are when electricity prices triple someday.
8 – Store Non-Perishable Supplies: Non-perishable supplies are one investment that is sure to go up in value. Not that you would resell them. You store up non-perishable supplies because you are going to need them someday. So why not stock up on the things that you are going to need now before they double or triple in price in the future? Your money is not ever going to stretch any farther than it does right now.
9 – Develop Stronger Relationships: Americans have become very insular creatures. We act like we don’t need anyone or anything. But the truth is that as the economy melts down we are going to need each other. It is those that are developing strong relationships with family and friends right now that will be able to depend on them when times get hard.
10 – Get Educated And Stay Flexible: When times are stable, it is not that important to be informed because things pretty much stay the same. However, when things are rapidly changing it is imperative to get educated and to stay informed so that you will know what to do. The times ahead are going to require us all to be very flexible, and it is those who are willing to adapt that will do the best when things get tough.

Sun Storm To Hit With 'Force of 100m Bombs'

I found this at http://www.news.com.au/

AFTER 10 years of comparative slumber, the sun is waking up - and it's got astronomers on full alert.
This week several US media outlets reported that NASA was warning the massive flare that caused spectacular light shows on Earth earlier this month was just a precursor to a massive solar storm building that had the potential to wipe out the entire planet's power grid.
NASA has since rebutted those reports, saying it could come "100 years away or just 100 days", but an Australian astronomer says the space community is betting on the sooner scenario rather than the latter.
Despite its rebuttal, NASA's been watching out for this storm since 2006 and reports from the US this week claim the storms could hit on that most Hollywood of disaster dates - 2012.
Similar storms back in 1859 and 1921 caused worldwide chaos, wiping out telegraph wires on a massive scale.
The 2012 storm has the potential to be even more disruptive.
"The general consensus among general astronomers (and certainly solar astronomers) is that this coming Solar maximum (2012 but possibly later into 2013) will be the most violent in 100 years," astronomy lecturer and columnist Dave Reneke said.
"A bold statement and one taken seriously by those it will affect most, namely airline companies, communications companies and anyone working with modern GPS systems.
"They can even trip circuit breakers and knock out orbiting satellites, as has already been done this year."
Regardless, the point astronomers are making is it doesn't matter if the next Solar Max isn't the worst in history, or even as bad as the 1859 storms.
It's the fact that there hasn't been one since the mid-80s. Commodore had just launched the Amiga and the only digital storm making the news was Tetris.
No one really knows what effect the 2012-2013 Solar Max will have on today's digital-reliant society.
Dr Richard Fisher, director of NASA’s Heliophysics division, told Mr Reneke the super storm would hit like "a bolt of lightning”, causing catastrophic consequences for the world’s health, emergency services and national security unless precautions are taken.
US government officials earlier this year took part in a "tabletop exercise" in Boulder, Colorado, to map out what might happen if the Earth was hit with a storm as intense as the 1859 and 1921 storms.
The 1859 storm was of a similar size to that predicted by NASA to hit within the next three years – one of decreased activity, but more powerful eruptions.
NASA said that a recent report by the National Academy of Sciences found that if a similar storm occurred today, it could cause “$1 to 2 trillion in damages to society's high-tech infrastructure and require four to 10 years for complete recovery”.
Staff at the Space Weather Prediction Center in Colorado, which hosted the exercise, said with our reliance on satellite technology, such an event could hit the Earth with the magnitude of a global hurricane or earthquake.
The reason for the concern comes as the sun enters a phase known as Solar Cycle 24.
All the alarming news building around the event is being fuelled by two things.
The first is a book by disaster expert Lawrence E. Joseph, Guilty of Apocalypse: The Case Against 2012, in which he claims the "Hurricane Katrina for the Earth" may cause unprecedented planetwide upheaval.
The second is a theory that claims sunspots travel through the sun on a "conveyor belt" similar to the Great Ocean Conveyor Belt which controls weather on Earth.
The belt carries magnetic fields through the sun. When they hit the surface, they explode as sunspots.
Weakened, they then travel back through the sun's core to recharge.
It all happens on a rough 40-50-year cycle, according to solar physicist David Hathaway of the National Space Science and Technology Center in the US.
He says when the belt speeds up, lots of magnetic fields are collected, which points to more intense future activity.
"The belt was turning fast in 1986-1996," Prof Hathaway said.
"Old magnetic fields swept up then should reappear as big sunspots in 2010-2011."
Most experts agree, although those who put the date of Solar Max in 2012 are getting the most press.
They claim satellites will be aged by 50 years, rendering GPS even more useless than ever, and the blast will have the equivalent energy of 100 million hydrogen bombs.
“We know it is coming but we don’t know how bad it is going to be,” Dr Fisher told Mr Reneke in the most recent issue of Australasian Science.
“Systems will just not work. The flares change the magnetic field on the Earth and it’s rapid, just like a lightning bolt.
"That’s the solar effect.”

Things We May Not Think About Before The Collapse

Emergency Sanitation

After a disaster or collapse, water and sewage lines may be disrupted, and you
may need to improvise emergency sanitation facilities.

Supplies
Always have basic sanitation supplies on hand.
2 Medium-sized plastic buckets with tight lid or 5 gallon buckets with potty seat
1 Plastic garbage bags and ties (heavy duty)
1 Household chlorine bleach
1 Soap, liquid detergent
1 Toilet paper
1 Towelettes
Have some sand or saw dust to put on top of waste

Sanitation
To build a makeshift toilet…
If sewage lines are broken but the toilet bowl is usable, place a
garbage bag inside the bowl. If the toilet is completely backed up,
make your own. Line a medium-sized bucket with a garbage bag,
and make a toilet seat out of two boards placed parallel to each
other across the bucket. An old toilet seat will also work. Or buy the 5 gallon potty kit with the bags, bucket and seat with lid(two would be better.

To sanitize waste…
After each use, pour a disinfectant such as
bleach into the container. This will help avoid infection and stop
the spread of disease. Cover the container tightly when not in use. You can also use sand or saw dust with a powdered mix of cheap beach base comet or Ajax to fight smell and disease.

To dispose of waste…
Bury garbage and human waste to avoid the spread of disease by
rats and insects. Dig a pit 3 to 4 feet deep and at least 75 feet
downhill or away from any well, spring or water supply.
If the garbage cannot be buried immediately you should place
the can outside until it can be buried. It's best to empty the buckets two or more times a day.

Water Substitutes for Cleansing

Keeping clean is essential to good health. Because water is so
precious and should be reserved for drinking purposes, consider
other ways to wash the body.
1 Rubbing alcohol
1 Lotions containing alcohol
1 Shaving lotion
1 Face creams and lotions
1 Towelettes
1 Wet wash cloth—Use a wet wash cloth to clean teeth, wash
face, comb hair, and wash body.
1 Makeshift shower—Use a spray bottle to shower.
You will have to use water at some point because soap and water is the best way to get clean.

Disinfectants
The best choice is a solution of 1 part liquid chlorine bleach to 10
parts water. Other commercial disinfectants include HTH, or
calcium hypochlorite, which is available at swimming pool supply
stores, and powdered, chlorinated lime, which is available at
building supply stores.

Intestinal Ailments
Consuming contaminated water and food can cause diarrhea,
poisoning, and intestinal diseases. Protect against diseases.
1 Keep body, hands, and cooking and eating utensils clean.
1 Use proper plates or eat from the original food containers if
water is not available for washing dishes.
1 Wash and peel all fruits and vegetables.
1 Keep all food in covered containers.
1 Prepare only as much as will be eaten at each meal.

Controlling Rodents and Insects
1 Keep living area clear of debris, garbage, refuse and body
wastes.
1 When possible, repair holes to keep out rodents.
1 Household insecticides will work in small and enclosed areas.

Make A Stand For Your Rights!!!!!!

I feel as if the right to keep and bear Arms is about to be infringed. The great Obama is just crazy enough to go after the Second Amendment and our rights to protect the security of a free state. It's 100% for sure that the fools in office don't care what we think, just look at the forced Health Care Bill over 65% of the people didn't even want it, So What We Know Best! The Bail out of wall street and the bankers, most didn't want it, So What We Know Best! They don't care what you think or want, because they know what's best for you and your family, so sit down and shut up! Remember President Obama during his presidential campaign for office promised to bring "..fundamental change" if he where elected. And it looks like he is well on his way, because this country is looking more like the "United States Of Marxist/Socialist Policies". Never, in most Americans wildest dreams did they think, not even for one moment, that what President Obama actually had in mind(I would Hope), was in fact a radical shift in everything our country and Constitution stands for by leading us down a path of Marxist/Socialist policies that historically has been repeatedly proven as oppressive and has always failed. Make a stand now before it's to late. Draw your line in the sand: I have and it's the Second Amendment and my right to keep my guns and ammo. Never give of your guns, because if you do you will lose all your other right there after. Make your stand and be strong.

Second Amendment to the United States Constitution

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

Prepare Like There's No Tomorrow.........

Prepare like there’s no tomorrow, because we may not have one. I read the Blog’s every day, I watch the news and read it on-line and I can see the writing on the wall why can’t the sheeple see the same thing? The debt is growing bigger every day and the unemployment is growing bigger every month and no new jobs are in the future. The cost of food, gas, and most needed things are going up. How can things be getting better? How are we on the up bound from this financial meltdown, I can answer that, “we are not”. Things are bad now but will get much worse as this year goes on, and by this time next year things will look a lot different. So if you don’t prep and you don’t store food, now is your time to start because your time is running out. The collapse is coming and the bubble is about to pop and when it happens things will get very bad very fast.
I feel like a kid in a room full of adults all talking to each other and not paying any attention to me, but I have some very important information that I’m trying to tell them. This information is of great importance and can save your life and the lives of your family, but most of the people I tell this info to looks at me with the deer in the head lights look. So I feel like I’m never getting through to any of them and my words of great importance is falling on deaf ears.
How fast do you think a collapse could happen? I think within an hour of a full financial crisis we would see people running crazy. Stores would be overrun and everything would go up in cost and money would not do you any good. If the collapse hit at 1:00pm EST I would think that by 4:00pm EST the country would be in full crisis. In this day and time information gets around fast and bad information gets around even faster. Just keep in mind that the second the bubble pops and the collapse hits the word of the collapse will spread across this country with a fury and a great fight for survival will start. If you have preps like food, water, medical supplies and guns with ammo you have a much better shot at surviving the collapse. But just surviving the collapse is the first part, and then it’s a day to day fight to survive and to make your life better. Everyday after the collapse it will be hard work and good planning to make a life in this new world we live in. So start planning and start prepping so you can survive.

Life goes on…….will you?

Salt....Do You Have Enough?

Salt tips for health and beauty and cleaning.

Gargling - Stir 1/2 teaspoon salt in an 8-ounce glass of warm water for use as a gargle for sore throats.

Cleaning teeth - Mix one part salt to two parts baking soda after pulverizing the salt in a blender or rolling it on a kitchen board with a tumbler before mixing. It whitens teeth, helps remove plaque and it is healthy for the gums.

Washing mouth - Mix equal parts of salt and baking soda as a mouth wash that sweetens the breath.

Bathing eyes - Mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a pint of water and use the solution to bathe tired eyes.

Reducing eye puffiness - Mix one teaspoon of salt in a pint of hot water and apply pads soaked in the solution on the puffy areas.

Relieving tired feet - Soak aching feet in warm water to which a handful of salt has been added. Rinse in cool water.

Relieving bee stings - If stung, immediately wet the spot and cover with salt to relieve the pain.

Treating mosquito and chigger bites - Soak in saltwater, then apply a mixture of lard and salt.

Treating poison ivy - Soaking the exposed part in hot saltwater helps hasten the end to poison ivy irritation.

Relieving fatigue - Soak relaxed for at least ten minutes in a tub of water into which several handfuls of salt has been placed.

Removing dry skin - After bathing and while still wet give yourself a massage with dry salt. It removes dead skin particles and aids the circulation.

Applying facial - For a stimulating facial, mix equal parts of salt and olive oil and gently massage the face and throat with long upward and inward strokes. Remove mixture after five minutes and wash face.

Extinguishing grease fires - Keep a box of salt handy at your stove and oven and if a grease fire flares up, cover the flames with salt. Do not use water on grease fires; it will splatter the burning grease. Also a handful of salt thrown on flames from meat dripping in barbecue grills will reduce the flames and deaden the smoke without cooling the coals as water does.

Drip-proofing candles - Soak new candles in a strong salt solution for a few hours, then dry them well. When burned they will not drip.

Removing soot - Occasionally throw a handful of salt on the flames in your fireplace; it will help loosen soot from the chimney and salt makes a bright yellow flame.

Cleaning fish tanks - Rub the inside of fish tanks with salt to remove hard water deposits, then rinse well before returning the fish to the tank. Use only plain, not iodized, salt.

Invigorating goldfish - Occasionally add one teaspoon of salt to a quart of fresh water at room temperature and put your goldfish in for about 15 minutes. Then return them to their tank. The salt swim makes them healthier.

Cleaning flower vases - To remove deposits caused by flowers and water, rub with salt; if you cannot reach the deposits to rub them, put a strong salt solution in the vase and shake, then wash the vase with soap and water.

Keeping cut flowers fresh - A dash of salt added to the water in a flower vase will keep cut flowers fresh longer.

Holding artificial flowers - Artificial flowers can be held in an artistic arrangement by pouring salt into the container, adding a little cold water and then arranging the flowers. The salt will solidify as it dries and hold the flowers in place.

Keeping patios weed-free - If weeds or unwanted grass come up between patio bricks or blocks, carefully spread salt between the bricks and blocks, then sprinkle with water or wait for rain to wet it down.

Killing poison ivy - Mix three pounds of salt with a gallon of soapy water and apply to leaves and stems with a sprayer.

Keeping windows frost-free - Rub the inside of windows with a sponge dipped in a saltwater solution and rub dry; the windows will not frost up in sub-freezing weather. Rubbing a small cloth bag containing salt that has been moistened on your car's windshield will keep snow and ice from collecting.

Anti-icing sidewalks and driveways - Lightly sprinkling rock salt on walks and driveways will keep snow and ice from bonding to the pavement and allow for easy removal. Don't overdo it; use the salt sensibly to avoid damage to grass and ornamentals.

Deodorizing shoes - Sprinkling a little salt in canvas shoes occasionally will take up the moisture and help remove odors.

Cleaning brass - Mix equal parts of salt, flour and vinegar to make a paste, rub the paste on the brass item, leave on for an hour or so, then clean with a soft cloth or brush and buff with a dry cloth.

Cleaning wicker - To prevent yellowing, scrub wicker furniture with a stiff brush moistened with warm saltwater and allow to dry in the sun.

Cleaning grease spots on rugs - Some grease spots can be removed with a solution of one part salt and four parts alcohol and rubbing hard but carefully to avoid damage to the nap.

Extending broom life - New brooms will wear longer if soaked in hot saltwater before they are first used.

Removing wine stains - If wine is spilled on a tablecloth or rug, blot up as much as possible and immediately cover the wine with salt, which will absorb the remaining wine. Later rinse the tablecloth with cold water; scrape up the salt from the rug and then vacuum the spot.

Removing rings from tables - White rings left on tables from wet or hot dishes or glasses can be removed by rubbing a thin paste of salad oil and salt on the spot with your fingers, letting it stand an hour or two, then wiping it off.

Restoring sponges - Give sponges new life by soaking them in cold saltwater after they are washed.

Settling suds - If a washing machine bubbles over from too many suds, sprinkle salt on the suds to reduce them.

Brightening colors - Wash colored curtains or washable fiber rugs in a saltwater solution to brighten the colors. Brighten faded rugs and carpets by rubbing them briskly with a cloth that has been dipped in a strong saltwater solution and wrung out.

Removing perspiration stains - Add four tablespoons of salt to one quart of hot water and sponge the fabric with the solution until stains disappear.

Brightening yellowed cottons or linens - Boil the yellowed items for one hour in a salt and baking soda solution

Removing blood stains - Soak the stained clothing or other cloth item in cold saltwater, then launder in warm, soapy water and boil after the wash. (Use only on cotton, linen or other natural fibers that can take high heat.)

Removing mildew or rust stains - Moisten stained spots with a mixture of lemon juice and salt, then spread the item in the sun for bleaching; and finally, rinse and dry.

Color-matching nylons - Good nylons that don't have a match can be made the same color by boiling them a few minutes in a pan of lightly salted water.

Fixing sticking iron - Sprinkle a little salt on a piece of paper and run the hot iron over it to remove rough, sticky spots.

Barter After The Collapse

What will be the new money after the collapse, gold, silver, seeds, salt, medications or ammo? How will we trade or do business after the collapse? I think with a system of bartering and the trade of skills. If you have a good skill to use in and after the collapse you will do better than the person with no skills. I have a new deal where I try to learn a new skill every year to six months. I think that every skill we learn gives us one more tool to use in the world after the collapse. I don't know how to weld, yet! I plan to learn before the end of the year or just after the first of the year. I would like to work with the blacksmith at the ren-faires we go to so I can pick up a little bit of info on blacksmithing. After the collapse we may not have power for long or at all so I would like to know how to make the tools that I will need to survive and repair the tools I have. Life will be hard and I'm sure we will be hard on the tools we work with so it would be nice to know how to weld and repair the tools we have, because what we have and what we find and make is all we will have to work with and after a few years the junk tools will be long gone and the homemade hand tools will be what we have to work with.
Pick up a few new skills to use after the collapse and help you chance to survive. Remember that after the fall of this country and the world our tools and skills will be all we have to save our lives.
Life goes on......will you?

Short Post Today......

Not much going on today, just keeping an eye on the news and the Iran info. Looks like to me that Israel will attack Iran at some point. Not sure when, if you believe the news and the government they say that Iran is a year away from converting nuclear material into a working weapon. I don't know when they can make a nuclear weapon but I do know that as soon as Israel thinks they can you will see the bombs drop. Keep ready and keep up the prepping........ Life goes on........will you?

Are We Ready? Are You Ready?

Is this country or this world ready for a collapse? We all know that the answer is not just NO, but HELL NO! I know that a collapse is down the road, I just don't know the day or the month. And with all my friends and family I only know a hand full of people who prep, and I mean prep for real. I know this guy that thinks he is set because he has about a month of food and water and lives next to a Wal-Mart. His plan is to get his supplies from there and only stock what will fit into a small pantry of his condo. I try to talk to him about this all the time and he just will not hear it, and tells me to drop it. So I don't care any more and about two months ago I dropped it for good. Then just out of thin air the other day he called me and asked what he would need for more than a month, so we talked and I have him going in the right direction. We will see if he goes with it or not and I told him this last call I will not push him to do this. He needs to push himself in to prepping and stay with it.
Think about how many people you know and then think about if they prep or not. How many preppers do you know? I know very few, and the few I do know are just like me. They try to help others and it falls on tone deaf ears. Most people just don't want to face the facts that a collapse is coming and when it hits life will never be the same. That means that you will not be going to Walt Disney World in June and the beach the month after. The collapse means that you will have to work everyday to live life and to survive. Most people just float through life and never have to land. Mom and dad took care of everything from 0-18 and then after high school you had that job at your dad's best friends coffee store at the end of town, but only till you went off to collage and mom and dad will not have you working while your in collage so all the bills, books, and needs are covered by them. Then collage is over and dad has you a great job lined up with his old friend Bob at the law firm and just like I said there feet never had to hit the ground. This is the type of people who will flip out when the collapse hits. They have worked some in there life and do the 9-5 grind Monday-Friday. They have the big house and 2.4 kids with the white picket fence and a two car garage and go on vacation for two weeks every year. They have a speed boat, tent camper and a BBQ grill, but only have food for three day in the house because they shop every few days for what they want. This is the group of people who can't face that a collapse is on it's way because the American dream will end and they will never have it again.
If you don't prep and think everything will be fine; I wish you the best, but if you don't prep and you too think that the collapse is on it's way I tell you start prepping NOW. Our time is short and it look to be getting worse every day. Don't waste a single day start a plan today and stick to it.

More War? But When?

Bolton is saying that we need to take out Iran. “So if Israel is going to do anything against the Bushehr reactor it has to move in the next eight days.”
Iran has stated on numerous occasions that it will respond in kind if Israel attacks. Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi repeated this warning during a press conference when he said the whole Israeli existence will be at stake if the Jewish nation attacks Iran’s Bushehr nuclear facility. “This is indicative of the fact that they are basically opposed to Iran’s progress, while all the details about the plant are clear and there is no reason to stop its operation,” Vahidi said.

So will Israeli do it or will we do it or will we both do it and jump start the collapse of the world? I know this group of leaders we have in office now are just plain dumb-ass fools and I know this is going to happen one way or the other. So get your gear ready and be ready to make a stand. Who knows what could happen if they drop the bombs on Iran. Could this start a World War? Will Russia jump in to fight, or will China? What would this attack bring on us as a country and a world?
If you have preps now is time to check them and get your bug-out plan ready. Pull out your NBC kit and have it ready. Get your guns ready to fight to keep what is yours and make sure you have your ammo near by. Things could get crazy real fast or this all could be a false flag from the NWO to freak us out. I don't know anymore the news is so damn full of BS now days.

Gift Card Fun And A Few New Items

I went to Sportsman's Warehouse to use my gift card from my birthday. So I walk into the store with no idea what I was going to get. I did want to get a new Zippo so that was on my list of things to look at. So I walk around looking at this and that and thinking how to best use this gift card. I saw a nice boot knife from Smith & Wesson H.R.T. for $19.00 so I got that and then found a good deal on the Zippo I wanted so I go that too with one can of zippo lighter fluid, two packs of flints and two extra wicks all for about $18.00. Then I walked by a middle table set up with Winchester 12X25 Monocular on it so I stopped and looked and liked so I put it into the basket then I was off to check out and I walked by the first-aid items and saw QuikClot Sport Sponge and got two of them and a small wound closure kit and I was done. With all I had got and a 20oz Pibb-xtra to drink came to $99.74 with .24 cents left over from a $100 gift card. All in all a good gift card run and a few more little bits of gear to add to my other gear.

Saving Money

Clutter and junk you just don’t need is a big part of life in this country. Over the last two months me and my wife have been cutting out the junk in our every day life. It’s so crazy the little bits of junk you pick up and buy at the store when you are shopping. So me and the wife have made a list to shop by and stick to it, and we only add something to the list if we both agree we need it. Plus we make a two week meal planner and only shop to fill the needs of our meal planner. And so far we are saving a good amount of money. The first month we saved about $100 and then the second month we saved $200 and I think it will be about the same this month. If I can save $150-200 a month just by planning out my meals and cutting out the junk. I plan to save this extra money to buy more Mt. House #10 cans to store and other gear. I feel the collapse is near and our time is short so now is the time to make a stand. The people who plan to survive will have a much better time with the transition from the world we know to the post-collapse world. Every bit of food and gear you store now will make life so much easier after the collapse.

This Is Good!!!!

The Plan!

Robin Williams, wearing a shirt that says 'I love New York ' in Arabic.

You gotta love Robin Williams. Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan.

What we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this message.

Robin Williams' plan ...(hard to argue with this logic!) :

'I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan.'

1) 'The US, UK , CANADA and AUSTRALIA will apologize to the world for our 'interference' in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those 'good 'ole' boys', we will never 'interfere' again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East, and the Philippines . They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders.. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave . We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are from. They're illegal! France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign 'students' over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes,

they get a 'D' and it's back home baby.

6) The US, UK , CANADA and AUSTRALIA will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non -polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a
while .

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production.

(About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not 'interfere.'

They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need.

Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies

and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us 'Ugly Americans' any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH ..learn it.. or LEAVE. Now, isn't that a winner of a plan? 'The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses...'She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'you want a piece of me?'

This Is Total BS

This just tops the F**king cake for me. This hunk of shit should be run out of office ASAP. I can't understand why the fools follow this asshole. I am all for the rights of everyone and how they practice their religion but do it away from the area where people of your religion KILLED OVER 3000 AMERICANS!!!!! I would never tell a person who or how to practice their faith, but where they do it is another thing. Just like the Church of Satan, and Satanism. It's not for me and if it's for you go with it but don't do it near a school, church, or playground. Letting them build this mosque near ground zero is a slap in the face to all the family and loved ones who lost someone on 9/11. Someone needs to pimp slap the fools in office!!!!

This is info from AP:
By ERICA WERNER,AP

WASHINGTON – After skirting the controversy for weeks, President Barack Obama is weighing in forcefully on the mosque near ground zero, saying a nation built on religious freedom must allow it.

"As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country," Obama told an intently listening crowd gathered at the White House Friday evening to observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

"That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances," he said. "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable."

The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100 million Islamic community center two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Press secretary Robert Gibbs had insisted it was a local matter.

Is this finally the economic collapse?

By Keith R. McCullough, contributor August 11, 2010
Found at http://money.cnn.com/2010/08/11/news/economy/economic_collapse_GDP_unemployment.fortune/index.htm

FORTUNE -- The Great Depression. Wall Street in 1987. Japan in 1997. Points of economic collapse are generally crystal clear in the rear-view mirror. Professional politicians in Japan have been telling stories for 20 years as to why they can prevent economic stagnation. In the US, the storytelling started in 2007. All the while, stock market and real-estate prices have repeatedly rallied to lower-highs, then collapsed again, to lower-lows.

Despite the many differences between Japan and the US, there is one similarity that continues to matter most in the risk management model my colleagues and I use at Hedgeye, our research firm -- debt as a percentage of GDP. Now that the US can't cut interest rates any lower, the only option left on the table is what the Fed just announced it would start doing -- buying Treasury debt. And that could lead the country to the brink of collapse: According to economists Carmen Reinhart & Ken Rogoff, whose views we share, crossing the 90% debt/GDP threshold is the equivalent of crossing the proverbial Rubicon of economic growth. It's a point from which it's almost impossible to return.
On July 2nd, we cut both our third quarter 2010 and full year 2011 GDP estimates for the US to 1.7%. At the time, the consensus around US economic growth estimates was about 3%. Now we're starting to see both big brokerage analysts and the Federal Reserve gradually cut their GDP estimates, but not by enough. Even our estimate for 2011 is still too high.

Slowing growth, both domestically and in China, is core to our bearish views on both the strength of the US dollar and US equities. There will be a downward bias to our US growth estimates as long as debt-financed-deficit-spending continues to be the solution politicians and central bankers turn to as a fix to our financial crisis.

Markets trade on expectations. Yesterday's zig-zag in the S&P 500 was unlike most sleepy August trading days in America. That's because the 'government is good' crowd leaked word that this second round of "quantitative easing," known as QE2, was coming, and that Ben Bernanke was going to respond to our buy-and-hope begging. (The first round of quantitative easing was the Fed's unprecedented purchase of agency debt to prop up the housing market, along with credit facilities for big banks, which began in 2008 and ended earlier this year.)

To think that we have institutionalized market expectations to this degree is downright frightening. It seems impossible but true that all rallies start and end with rumors about what Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, a humble looking man of government, had to say at 2:15 PM EST yesterday afternoon, or any other day he makes a statement.

So now what?

With 40.8 million Americans on food stamps (record high) and 45% of the unemployed having been seeking employment for 27 weeks or more (record high), what's left if (or when) QE2 doesn't kick start GDP growth? Should we start begging for QE3? Should we cancel the bomb of the National Association of Realtors' existing home sales report, scheduled for public release on August 24th? Or should we bite the bullet and accept that current economic policy dictates 0% returns-on-savings, even as Washington continues to lever-up our future to the point of economic collapse?

Before the Fiat Fools -- Hedgeye's name for political actors and bankers who have placed their hopes of economic recovery in printing endless supplies of new cash -- run out campaigning for QE3, maybe they should analyze some real time market results to yesterday's announcement of QE2:

1)The US dollar is battling for resuscitation after 9 consecutive down weeks -- down 9% since June.

2) US Treasury yields are making record lows on the short end of the curve, with 2-year yields striking 0.49%.

3) The yield spread (in this case the difference in return between 10-year and 2-year Treasury bills, which shows a long-term confidence when high) continues to collapse, down another 4 basis point day-over-day to 223 basis points.

4) The S&P 500 is down below its 200-day moving average (a common signpost for the health of a market or stock) of 1115.

5) US Volatility (VIX) is spiking from its recent stability.

6) In Japan, long time quantitative easing specialists found their markets closing down overnight by 2.7%, which makes them down 11.9% for the year to date.

Lest our doom and gloom seem built entirely on technical measurements, what they boil down to is actually quite simple -- an idea about our country which dates back to 1835. Alexis De Tocqueville, author of Democracy in America, which was published that year, seemed to warn of this day when he wrote: "The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."

Food Inflation Is On It's Way

More And More BS, Now Is The Time To Prep!!!!

I see that the unemployment numbers are going up and not much hope of getting better any time soon. The price of food, gas, and just about everything under the sun is going up. And just as always the great leader is kicking out money like it's free, well to some it is free. The sad thing is the little guy and the blue collar worker is going to have to pick up the bill. I know that if I make $1000.00 a week that would total $4000.00 a month, but if I spend $6000.00 a month then I'm $2000.00 in the hole every month. And this is just what the government is doing every month. We are at the threshold of a great economic breakdown and the collapse of this country and the world economy. When we hit rock bottom and the collapse starts all hell will break lose and the world will never be the same. I think that it may be to late in the game to get 100% ready but every day you work on a plan for survival is one more day of gear and supplies you will have to help you survive. I tell everyone that even if you only have two weeks of food and water on hand that is better then not having anything. I think that 6-12 months is better and would give you a much better chance of survival, but remember that any chance for survival is better than zero chance. If you are prepping then keep it up and if you are not prepping then get your butt in gear NOW!!! Our time is short and doom is very near. The collapse is coming and life will never be the same.

Urban Survival After The Collapse

This post is going to go hand and hand with my last post, staying under the radar after the collapse. No matter what type of collapse it is staying under the radar and out of the site of other people is vital to your survival. Lets all remember that all signs of activity can lead people to your location. Something as simple as an item being moved around from one place to another. Any signs of life or activity can tip people off to the fact that your there or someone has been there. Let's remember going into this collapse 98% - 99% are not going to be prepared. There's going to be a great number of people out there who are starving, looking for shelter and medical supplies and gear.
Suzie home maker and her friend down the block might be the nicest people in the neighborhood, but after the collapse when the power is off, the foods all gone and dad never made it home from work. These women's basic survival instinct's will take over. Your no longer "Tom" the next door neighbor your now just another person who could possibly have food or water. Any one who is a hunter knows the last thing you want to do is get between a cub and it's mother. Believe me these soccer moms and other sheeple will do what ever it takes to get water, food and medical supplies. In a post collapse situation your first goal is for survival. One of the biggest keys to survival is staying low key and under the radar. The less impact you have on your surroundings the better your chance of survival. Just remember it's been two weeks since the collapse it's been a week since the grocery stores ran out of food the last thing you want to do is fire up the B B Q and draw every person with a nose within 10 miles to your location. Let's all remember that having all the food, water, medical supplies and survival gear on this planet doesn't amount to a hill of beans if you can't defend and keep what is yours. Just look back in history to the survivors in Europe who lived through the second world war. Being low key was the recipe for their survival. These people were like ghost's you would not have even known they were there and they lived on the same block as you. Keep up your prepping and stay low key with the prepping the last thing you want is the whole neighborhood at your door after the collapse. Keep to your survival plan and stay hard at work prepping. I feel it's about to hit the fan!!!!

Under The Radar

I have been doing some thinking about life after the collapse. And the steps we will need to take to keep safe. If we can stay low profile and stay under the radar our chance of survival will increase. Many people think to bug out to the deep woods or to there remote cabin to wait out the coming doom of the collapse. But what if you are in a city or small town and can’t or don’t want to bug out? What steps can you take to stay under the radar and not let any one know you are around?
It was dangerous living in a big city during the war. Cities were the target of enemy aircraft that flew over at night and dropped bombs. And at 4:56pm on 7 September 1940, the air raid sirens wailed as the German Air Force, the Luftwaffe, launched a massive raid on London. Over 350 bombers flew across the Channel from airfields in France and dropped tons of bombs on the docks and streets of the East End of London. The heavy and frequent bombing attacks on London and other cities were known as the 'Blitz'. Night after night, from September 1940 until May 1941, German bombers attacked British cities, ports and industrial areas.
London was bombed ever day and night for 11 weeks. One third of London was destroyed. On the 7th September, 1940 the German air force changed its strategy of bombing the British air force and began to concentrate on bombing London. Nearly 2,000 people were killed or wounded in London's first night of the Blitz.
During the first month, German Air Force dropped 5,300 tons of high explosives on London in just 24 nights. Bomb shelters were built to help prevent the Germans from seeing where the towns were, a blackout was rigorously enforced after darkness. This meant that all sources of light had to be blacked out.
And I think black out shades and windows that are covered to keep light from getting out would be a good way to stay under cover in a small city or town. If you cover your windows from the outside you would need to do so as not to make people think you are hiding out or have something in side. You would want the outside cover to be a downed tree that covers a few windows or some other natural cover that would not stand out. And from the inside you could use black out shades and big thick blankets to keep the light from getting out. There are many was to keep your inside light from getting out for other to see, and I think if you are staying put and not bugging out and you live in a city or town you will need to cut down on your visibility and try to become a ghost. Do as much as you can at night and right before sun up. Keep your exposure to the bare necessity, only go out when you have to and only work around the homestead when needed. There will come a time when things calm down a bit and you can ease up a bit, but remember that the less people know about you after the collapse the better your chance of survival. Keep down your exposure in any survival event at first, unless to are trying to be rescued.
Keep in mind that every survival event is different and not everyone will want to stay put in a city or town, but the people who do stay cutting down on your exposure is a must.

The Amazing Uses of WD-40, Info from a friend.......

I found this info at the Bacon and Eggs Blog http://baconandeggs-scifichick.blogspot.com/
It's always fun to read this blog and she has great info all the time so stop by and give this blog a good read and look back at her older post there is a lot of great info to be found.

Water Displacement #40. The product began from a search for A rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect Missile parts. WD- 40 was created in 1953 by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company.. Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'water displacement' compound. They were successful with the fortieth formulation, thus WD-40. The Corvair Company bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts.
Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you...' IT IS MADE FROM FISH OIL' . When you read the 'shower door' part, try it. It's the first thing that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic, it works just as well as glass. It is a miracle! Then try it on your stove top... It is now shinier than it has ever been before.

Work, Work, Work, and More Work

Got a lot done to day, but have more to do tomorrow. I got about 25% of the shop done and will try to get most of it done tomorrow. I will have a good amount of stuff to sell at the yard sale I plan to do. And I have a good amount of woodworking tools I am going to sale. I can't remember buying half of the stuff I am finding and if I can't remember it then I don't need it. I have started my hand tool box to keep and my power tool box. It feels good to be slimming down the junk I don't need. I think about the pioneers and the few items they had, so why do I need a 14X20 foot shop full of junk. They had just a few tools and a good gun or two and did just fine. I don't want to slim down to much but I am going to get rid of what is not needed.

Setting Goals And Making Plans

We all have things we want to do, and most of us have a plan to get to our goal. Setting goals and making plans is a big part of survival, but is also a big part of life. We all need to have goals and we all need to have some kind of plan to go with our goals. I have had a plan for survival for over 20 years and I bet you it has changed 200 times or more. I think my plan changed as my survival skill grew. The more I learned and the more I tried new skill the more my plan changed. Now years later I look back at the first few years I was getting into survival, I just shake my head and laugh. I know I was green and just starting out and I think about all the dumb ass little bits of gear I bought over the years I laugh out loud.
But I know better now and I don't get burned as much with gear now, from time to time I get something that is cool but turns out to be junk. This all goes with trial and error and planning for survival. Being a survivalist is all about planning and working to your goals, but when you get to you goal moving the bar a little higher. Being a survivalist means always reaching for a goal that is just out of your reach and never getting to the end of your to do list. I don't think we as survivalist will ever get to a point when we say, "Hey I'm as ready as I will ever need to be."

Keep up with your prepping and keep working to your goal for survival, because the collapse is coming.

Big Weekend Coming Up....And A New Life Down The Road.....

I have a lot to do this weekend. I will start my slim down of useless items, like all of the woodworking tools I will never use. Most of the tools are for big power tools that I never use and just don't need. So I plan to sell it all and only keep the nice hand tools that I have. I will keep a few of my small power tools, like me drill, the colt router, skill-saw, sanders, and a few others but all will fit into a nice tote to fit into whatever motor home or rig we get. I also plan to sell all the junk we keep just because we don't want to get rid of it, I have had it and don't need any of this junk. We are going to keep the living room and bed room furniture and put it into storage, plus we will keep a few other things in storage just in case we don't like it on the road, but I can't see me not liking it. We are doing a lot of reading and we had an 23 foot RV for over 6 years and used it off and on, so we know a little about being on the road in a small RV. Me and the wife were talking today and have came up with a pre-plan for our big new life. I get PTO at work(paid time off) and we plan to save over the next 6-12 months and when we are ready to hit the road we will have a trial run with the motor home. I will take a month off with pay and we will give it a go and see how we like it and if we do I will come back home and put in my notice at work. And in the two weeks I am working out my last days at my job we will tie up all the undone ends. I have no idea what is down the road for me and my wife but I do know I am very excited about the new life we are going to give a try.
Please any of you who have done this and have any info e-mail me or comment and give me some feedback.

When Do We Need To Freak Out

I look at all the news and BS going around and think how long can this go on? I see the lies we get fed every day. And then I see the walking dead out there in sheeple land just eating up all the lies and BS. I know that most people will do and think whatever the Boob tube tells them. But with the level of BS we are getting from the news and the government I would think a few people would come around and see the light. But as I see it so far most people just go with the flow and eat what ever BS is fed to them.
So my question is when to we freak out over the lies? At what point do we just say, to hell with it and run to the hills or dig in and get ready to fight the system? I'm so damn sick of the system and don't care any more. The tax man F**ked me, The Bank F**ked me and the Lawyer I hired F**ked me so to hell with the system and to hell with this fake BS country. I want the good ole God loving, gun loving, truth and freedom country I remember from my days as a young boy. I have had it with all the BS and I have had it with all the lies. I am about to go off the grid and never give any of them another dime of my money. I have had it!!!!

Getting Ready

Me and the wife went today and looked at a few RV's and have about three orthers to see this week. We are looking to get this motor home and make a few runs with it. We had a 23' Trailer that we sold at the 1st of the year, so we know about the RV life. We are ready to give this a try and I look at it as a way to get free from the beast. I know this will be a hard thing to do but after looking over the numbers I think this will be a good deal. I am 100% ready to give this a go and we have started working on the plan as of today.

1st on our list is to slim line our stuff, if it's not needed it is gone.
2nd is to start selling unneeded items, but we did decide to keep our big item stuff and put it into storage because this may not work and we may need to come home and don't want to have to start from peg one again, but after a year if we still like it on the road then we will sell it all.
3rd Find a good motor home or RV, we may still go with a 5th wheel
4th start getting some needed gear for the RV
5th get a job with a nursing temp group and start looking for the first contract to go work.

I still have a ton of other things to do, I did like two of the RV's I saw today.

I may be as crazy as hell but this is the best I have felt in years........Like I have some hope in my life.

Got Me To Thinking......

Mayberry over at Keep It Simple Survival, http://mayberry-keepitsimplestupid.blogspot.com/2010/08/hiding-in-plain-sight.html

He has a post on Hiding In Plain Sight and me and my wife have been thinking about this for years. I'm in nursing and I am ready to hit the road. We are thinking about getting a Class C Motor home and going on the road. We are both ready for the freedom and the open life on the road. We both need a new life, a life of true freedom. I have a plan to get on the road within a year. Maybe we will do it and maybe we will just move to a new state but I know we are getting out of California. And when we do make our move to the open road or and new home I know it will be a lot smaller than what we have now. I need the simple life and a life with less clutter and less mess. Plus less government and less taxes. I hate that I still feed the beast, but I have made myself a promise to cut down the contact with the beast till I have cut myself from it for good. I think this hiding in plain sight is a great idea and I plan to work to a goal of true freedom.
