Barter Items In The Post-Apocalyptic World


Check your pockets right now. Chances are, you might have some funny colored paper with dead people’s faces on it, and maybe some jingly pieces of semi-precious metal. Do you know what those will be worth after the collapse of society? Nothing. So in this new world, with a barter economy, you’re going to need some things worth trading and after the collapse, gold and silver will be nice but only worth what you will be able to get for it. What will become the new currency? Here is my list of some possibilities. Post to the comments and add what you think needs to be on here this is just a short list and not even close to the full list of barter items.

AMMUNITION: A firearm is only useful when loaded. Ammunition will become incredibly rare, highly desired and expensive. Those who have weapons will need ammunition to stay in control; those with ammunition can control them. Just imagine you meet up with a commune of people, by trading a box of shotgun shells, your not only gained respect and admiration, your ensured survival of the group and now can probably join up (remember there’s something to be said for safety in numbers). Just be careful who you give ammo to… probably not wise to give them to someone who will turn around and use them on you.
FOOD: Any canned or dry foods will be needed so this will be a good form of trade or barter. But remember you will need food so don’t trade away your food unless you have extra.

GASOLINE OR FUEL: Gasoline or fuel means combustion engines, machinery, heat and light from lanterns. Those who are left out there will covet anything that provide heat or make their motors run. Lamp oil will be very needed, but remember olive oil burns just as good as lamp oil.

CIGARETTES: Once Salem-Winston and Phillip Morris go down, there are going to be a lot of people with a major case of the with draws . A pack of smokes may just save your life, or gain you needed items in trade.

SPICES: Not too far back in our history, spices were worth their weight and more in gold. Egyptians were buried with their spices. Roman soldiers used to be paid in salt. Trust me, once your eaten nothing but bland food for a month, something along the lines of pepper, paprika, or even tarragon is going to blow your mind. Stock up on extra spices.

ANTIBIOTICS: Infection and disease are going to be the big killers after society collapses. As bacteria grow increasingly resistant and proper hygiene becomes harder to maintain, a handful of penicillin or Cipro is going to be a great advantage to have for your use or for trade.

SEEDS: Heirloom seeds, you will need the seeds to keep growing food year after year. And only heirloom seeds will give you the seeds you will need for next years growing. Seeds=food and food is life.


KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS: The most valuable items you have to trade are your abilities. Being able to fix small motors, start fires, navigate using the stars, or even knowing how to create and use simple machines will give you an edge. First-Aid and nursing will be much needed skills so learn a skill or two.

What's Up With The Lies!!!



I read every day the same bull from the news outlets about how things are getting better, like the unemployment rate is the same and not going up. WHAT? So let me get this right just because the unemployment rate is holding at a crazy point and not going up and the stock market is being played with so it looks good every thing is getting better. What a load of crap. I was at Andrea's Blog today Chicky-Bit Run at http://chicky-bit-run.blogspot.com/ and she was talking about the price of food going up. Me and my wife was just talking about how every week we see the price of food going up slow so people don't see it as easy as if it jumped all at once. But the thing they don't see is a lot of people keep up with the price of food and can see when the price jumps even just a few cents. Here is a small part of the blog I saw today.

According to the PPI Report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, March saw the largest one month jump in food prices in 26 years! In it's sixth consecutive monthly increase, food prices rose 2.4%. Some of the 'startling' increases they report include:

Fresh vegetables up 56.1%

Fresh fruits up 28.8%

Eggs up 33.6%

Pork up 19.1%Beef up 10.7%

Dairy products up 9.7%


So what does it all mean? It means that $100 bag of groceries that you're buying this year will cost you $124 this time next year. Wrap your mind around that. If you spend $100 a week on groceries, you'll be spending nearly $1250 more this year on groceries! Twelve hundred and fifty dollars. It's frightening, isn't it? And what makes it even more frightening is the fact we can't avoid it. We can't opt out of eating. So what do you do? GARDEN my friend! Take up your trowel and get some dirt under your fingernails. Spend $25 dollars on seeds and reap the benefits ten-fold! Spend a little more for canning supplies and eat all winter on that $25 investment by preserving your harvest!


Great info.... So get your butt in gear and stock up on food now and start a garden ASAP. The collapse is near and we all need to be ready. Use your time as best you can, so look over the ads in the paper and buy when items are on sale make your money work for you and make it go as far as you can, and remember to use the coupons and look for stores that double them and shop on the days you get the best deal. Like someone posted a comment to my blog said a free can of soup is just that a free can, but think if over the next six months you can get two free cans of something every week at the end of the six months you will have 48 free cans of some kind of food. Use your options and shop smart you don't have to buy just Mt. House #10 can foods you can add many different kinds of food to store. Get to work and save your life and the lives of your family.

I know a lot of people don't like the mini-14 but I do, for 50-75 yard shots it works very well and I have had one for years and love it. Tell me what you like and why.

After The Collapse.......

So the shit has hit the fan and you have made it, but now the real fight to survive starts. You have a few skills but not as many as you like to have or need. So what do you do when you get sick and have no meds or no doctor? What will you or anyone do for help after the collapse? I read as much as I can and study as many skills as I can, and so should you. I was a EMT-D and I still know the skills I learned and I still work at the hospital and every time a doctor is doing something to a person I have never seen before I try to see it and some things I watch over and over because one day I may have to try to save some ones life and I need to know every thing I can learn. I go to every class I can at work to learn as much info as I can. I keep a large group of books that I read off and on and as I find new books with great info I get them and I know a time will come when we don't have power to use the world wide web to get info from so I will have my books to fall back on. I would advise you all to start a survival library to have on hand. I also find nice stuff on line but know I can't go to it if the web is down or we have no power so if I find something I like I print it out and file it in my survival file. I went out and got a file box to use just for great info from the world wide web. I want to have the hard copy on paper so I will have it if we don't have power or a working computer. So get to it and build yourself a survival library and READ IT!!!!! Don't just buy the books and let them sit on the book shelve never touched except to be put away. Bulid, plan, prep and survive!!!

Soothing Tea for Heartburn
1 cup water
1 teaspoon grated licorice root
1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
1 teaspoon dried chamomile flowers

A) In a small pan, bring the water to a boil. Add the licorice and genger. Simmer 12-15 minutes.
B) Strain into a teacup and drink.

Good Info We All Can Use

Here are some tips to make food storage affordable, especially in hard economic times:

1. Make home food storage a regular budget item.
2. Use your income tax return.
3. Use bonuses or money received as gifts.
4. Have a home storage Christmas.
5. Grow a garden and can or store the extra produce.
6. Use bulk purchases for regular monthly groceries and use the money saved for home storage.
7. Use interest from a savings or checking account.
8. Stock up when stores have items on sale.
9. Have a garage sale and use the proceeds towards food storage.
10. Cut recreational expenses and use that savings towards food storage.



Basic Principles of Food Storage

1. Store what your family will eat and learn to eat what will store well. Be sure to consider special diet needs.

2. Store foods from all six of the recommended food storage groups to ensure a balanced diet.

3. Check for expiration dates to determine the freshness and quality of the food items you purchase. Buy the freshest for the longest shelf life.

4. Make adjustments for food quantities based on the age and activity levels of individuals in your family.

5. Basic storage foods should be low in moisture (10 percent or less). These foods will retain their quality and nutritional value longer and will be more pest resistant when stored properly.

6. Incorporate stored food items into your regular meals to avoid waste. Replace them as they are used to ensure a constant fresh supply of food. Doing so will also help avoid the incorporation of costly or hard to find food items in your stored food plan.

7. Label each food container with the date of purchase so that the oldest items can be used first.

8. Food should be stored cool, dry, dark and airtight. Avoid storing in hot attics and garages. Keep food above concrete floors and away from heat and light sources. Containers should be as airtight as possible.

9. Inventory your food supply regularly. Check for items that need to be used, replaced, or added to your supply. Check for insect and rodent infestations and damaged containers.


Common Food Storage Mistakes

The average person needs to drink approximately a gallon of water each day. This is water for drinking purposes only. Many people also store a gallon of water to help fulfill their daily hygiene needs. It is important to remember that you will also need sufficient amounts of water to cook or prepare your food. Avoid this common food storage mistake by taking a few simple precautions.

Your predominant method of food storage will determine how much extra water you will need to store. If you are relying on canned food items as your main type of food storage, your additional water requirements will be much lower. If you are dependent upon dry bulk items, such as grains or beans, or dehydrated food items your need for additional water storage will be much greater.

The easiest way to supplement your water storage is by stocking different types of liquids to conserve your water supply for use in cooking. Canned sodas, bottled drinking water, bottled juices, and “other” types of canned or bottled beverages will help conserve drinking water for use in cooking. You can also store cans of soups and broths to supplement your dry food storage items. This will also give you a greater variety in your choice of liquids for cooking and something besides “plain” water for drinking. This will also help to retain some normalcy in your life during an emergency or crisis.

A little more difficult way is by simply storing an extra gallon of water per day for preparing meals. An extra gallon of water will allow you a sufficient amount to prepare several meals. This will require extra storage containers and space.

Properly storing adequate supplies of other beverages or additional water will help you avoid insufficient amounts of water for cooking during an emergency or crisis. It is also important to remember that during a crisis or emergency that sufficient water may not be available and that even if the water is on, many times it may not be suitable for drinking or cooking and will probably need to be filtered and purified before use. Keep a water filter and a means to purify your water on hand in your emergency supplies.

Preps and more Preps

I have been working on my preps this week. I made more 5 gallon buckets with rice, beans and oats. I have added more water and lamp oil to my preps. I think the little things in life will mean so much after the collapse, like the availability to have light when it's dark outside and a way to cook food with little or no trouble. I plan to survive the collapse and do it with as much comfort as I can, this is why me and my wife buy toilet paper every time we see it on sale. And the same with other items like soap, OTC medications, socks, paper plates, and other household items. Make a list of needed items and work on it. I plan to have all the needed items I can get and I want to live life after the collapse as best as I can and with as much comfort as possible.

Question........

You can only have 10 items for survival. We will take in a count that you already have a small back pack, small pocket knife(like a Swiss Army or Small Case) and clothes appropriate to the area you are in. You were in your car or truck you have a small first-aid kit, 8'X8' tarp and a mag light with you so the rest you have to come up with. The event is TEOTWAWKI, no power, people running crazy and you are alone and 50-100 miles from your home or retreat. What 10 items would you want to have, and lets keep this down to earth don't say you want a M1A1 Tank. Lets keep it to items you can carry with you. And give reasons why you would have the 10 items you have picked. 8 in 10 Americans Say They Don't Trust The Federal Government

I'm one of the eight Americans who don't trust the Feds. This number is the highest in almost 100 years. I think some of the walking dead of this country could be waking up just a little bit. I still don't think the walking dead will start to prep or start to get ready to survive in any way. They may say they don't trust the government but when something big happens like a false flag event they will run to uncle sugar for help and beg to get onto the bus headed to Camp FEMA. I still fear that most Americans will drink the Kool-Aid when told to do so. When they do the polls people are mad at all the bullshit and say yes I don't trust the government but when it comes down to it they will do what ever uncle sugar tells them to do. But I do think a few people, but when I say few I mean a few people have come too and are seeing the BS of the government. Most of them will sit by and let the steam roller go right over them without even a question of why. I still don't know what the hell happened to this country. Why the hell are most people so like sheep and can be walked right to the slaughter house with out even a question. I still can't understand the people that I ask the question, "what are you going to do when the collapse hits?" and they say that the government will take care of me. It kills me and I crack up every time, I then ask them how well do you think the government did in 2005 with Hurricane Katrina, because it took them six days to get bottled water to the people. I try to make the point to people that you can only count on yourself and the government is the last group you should trust. Trusting the government is like getting the fox to watch the hen house for you, it just doesn't make any sense. We all need to keep our eyes open and stay strong because the collapse is coming soon. With all the new bills this evil empire is pushing on us and all the communist like laws being dropped on us it's no wonder I feel as I do. If the people of this country don't wake up ASAP we will never see the country we all miss from our past again. Freedom is being pushed out of our lives every day and replaced with lies and socialism. Every day we lose more and more freedoms and tyranny is setting into it's place in this country.

Tax Day

Every year the great Government steals the hard earned money from the people of this country. And then spends it on junk we don't want or need. Just look at health care over 76% of the people of this country didn't want the health care bill, but they gave it to us even after all the calls, e-mails and right out talk at the town hall meetings. They just don't get it and never will as far as I see it. This year I didn't owe on my taxes and still don't feel good about it because I'm still feeding the beast. I hate to think about any of my money going to this government period. I'm not sure if the Tea Party Groups will do any good, but I do know that doing nothing is what they want us to do and I will have no part of that. I plan to stand on my soap box and preach till the day the good Lord takes me home. I will not just sit by and say or do nothing anymore. I blog and a talk to everyone that will lend a ear. I think we all need to make a stand and fight for our freedoms. Don't Tread On Me

Appleseed Project

I think I will go this weekend and give this a try, I have never been to one but have heard great things about it.


What is Project Appleseed?
Appleseed is a program that instructs Americans on the traditional rifle marksmanship skills that have been passed down from generation to generation, along with reconnecting today's Americans with the people and events of the Founding era. Participants are taught fundamental rifle marksmanship skills that are required to allow a Rifleman to be accurate out to 500 yards, with iron sights, standard rifle and surplus ammo. This is the traditional 'Rifleman's Quarter mile', which is an uniquely American Rifleman skill, that has been part of this nation from the very first days.
Most of the instruction at an Appleseed is conducted at 25 meters, at reduced size targets to simulate 100 to 500 yards. This well proven technique allows us to concentrate on the shooter's mechanics and less time walking a range. At those locations that allow for actual distance shooting, participants are often able to see first hand that the skills that they learn at 25 meters directly apply to actual distances out to 500 yards. These foundational skills are not being passed on to future generations, and so Appleseeds are great for new or experienced shooters alike.

Same Old News

Today is just like every other day, the same junk in the news and no hope in the coming days for this country. We are in the worse shape this country has been in for many years and I don't see it getting any better any time soon. Average American income is down more than 3% from the day Obama took office, more and more people are having the evil bankers take there homes. But Mr. Obama has said many time that the worse is over, like hell the worse is just down the road. Time is getting shorter and shorter as each day goes by, and we draw closer to the collapse. And I feel that the collapse is very near and when it hits it will be the worse thing that has ever happened to this country. So many will not be even close to being ready for what lies ahead for this country. I saw on line that a large amount of people in this country live day to day with there grocery shopping. That is they shop for one or two days of food at a time and have very little in there house to eat. I just don't understand how people can do this and live this way. I feel like if I use something from the cabinet I need to replace it ASAP. I don't know who someone could have only a few days worth of food in there house. The sad thing is that when the collapse hits these people will be part of the crazy run for food and water at the last second. And I'm sure they will all be as nice as always(joke) You will see the evil side of everyone you come in contact with after the collapse because when the hammer falls and the collapse hits it will be every man for himself, and that nice man at the end of the street who would tell you every time you told him to get ready for the collapse, "It's OK I will work Things Out If It Happens!" he will show up at your house with his hands out and expect you to feed him and his family because he is entitled to live even if if cuts into you and your families ability to live life, and I'm sure he will ask you in a nice way. The collapse will bring out the worse in everyone and people are capable of doing some damn nasty things to there fellow man. So my advice to you and yours is get ready to survive and don't talk about it to the people around you; only tell the people you can trust with your life because that is what you will be doing if you talk about your preps to the wrong person or persons.

1. Make a plan to survive
2. Stock up on food, water, medical supplies and other needed items
3. Get a gun and have lots of ammo for it.
4. Learn to use the gun like safety, cleaning and using it the right way.
5. Go the the range every week and shoot!!! Practice!!!!
6. Don't talk to others about what you are doing unless you trust them with you life.
7. Get out and learn some new skills like, welding, first-aid, CPR, sewing, ect....... Every skill you learn now will help you to survive after the collapse.
8. Stock up smart, Look for sales and good buys you don't have to go broke just to stock up.
9. Check and recheck your stocks and survival gear.
10. Plan for a bug-out even if you want to stay in place. Have plans to get out and get out in more that one direction. Have a back up plan to your back up plans a good survivalist has many plans.

Congress of the United States
begun and held at the City of New-York, on
Wednesday the fourth of March, one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine.

THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.

RESOLVED by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, two thirds of both Houses concurring, that the following Articles be proposed to the Legislatures of the several States, as amendments to the Constitution of the United States, all, or any of which Articles, when ratified by three fourths of the said Legislatures, to be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of the said Constitution; viz.

ARTICLES in addition to, and Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, proposed by Congress, and ratified by the Legislatures of the several States, pursuant to the fifth Article of the original Constitution.

Amendment V

Amendment VI

Do You Have A Scanner?


A scanner is a radio receiver that can automatically tune, or scan, two or more discrete frequencies, stopping when it finds a signal on one of them and then continuing to scan other frequencies when the initial transmission ceases. The terms radio scanner or police scanner generally refer to a communications receiver that is primarily intended for monitoring VHF and UHF land mobile radio systems, as opposed to, say, a receiver used to monitor international shortwave transmissions.

More often than not, these scanners can also tune to different types of modulation as well (AM, FM, WFM, etc). Early scanners were slow, bulky, and expensive. Today, modern microprocessors have enabled scanners to store thousands of channels and monitor hundreds of channels per second. Recent models can follow trunked radio systems and decode APCO-P25 digital transmissions. Both hand held and desktop models are available. Scanners are often used to monitor police, fire and emergency medical services. I have one a PRO-528 1000-Channel Triple-Trunking Scanner from Radio Shack and I love it. I have all ways thought it was a good idea to pick up a little cross talk from the local emergency and police force. If you don't have a scanner you should put one on your list of needed items.
Here are the ten codes the police use it could be a little different in your town or city because they all use what they want to use but this is a good base.

Strategies For Survival Before and After The Collapse

1. Have a Plan- A plan for survival is a must. Keep you plans simple at first and add to them as you get better prepared. Make a list of needed items and work on it, put the most needed items at the top of your list. Making your plans to complex can mess up your day in a big way, so keep plans to the point and as simple as possible and remember to keep back up plans the same way to the point and as simple as possible.

2. Know Your Surroundings- In your plan you need to have escape routes and back up routes. Alternate routes and plans to stay ahead of trouble after the collapse is a must. You need to have up to date maps of your city, town and state with the routes marked on them, but to remember to never leave your maps behind because in a SHTF event a maps marked with a full route is like giving a key to your house to a thief, so remember not to leave behind any clues to your escape route or any of your plans. And if your part of a group you should have a meet up point that everyone knows about before the collapse but you should have a back up to the meeting point.

3. Knowledge is Power- After the collapse your skills will be a big part of your power and 99.9% of the way you will make needed items. I do leather work, woodworking, carpentry, general handyman, first-aid, and EMT-D. I’m still adding new skills every time I can because every skill I have is one more thing that will add value to me in a SHTF event. Get out and learn new things to help with your survival.

4. Have a small BOB or Survival kit with you at all times.
The intent is for this kit to be very compact, portable (fits into a small fanny pack), relatively inexpensive, and provide the basics of food, water, shelter, and medical supplies for a few days.

5. Research- Find out if there are any government shelters, or locations where the government will try to rebuild or gather survivors to protect them in the event of a collapse. Remember you never want to become a refugee of FEMA or any other alphabet government group, so stay away from this kind of camps and food lines. Before the collapse like now check forums and search the Internet to find like minded individuals to learn advice, and help develop a plan of action and possible contact list of other survivors who can help you, but make friends very careful and tell no one about your supplies and survival plans. You can trust yourself, God and some family everyone after that you should question if you tell them or not. Remember you are making plans to save your life in a time that everyone will be out to help themselves and not care who they kill or steal from. Chose who you talk to with care.

6. Health- Stay in good health you don't have to have a perfect body, but the better shape your in the faster wounds will heal, your immune system will function better, your confidence will improve, and your ability to think clearly under stress will greatly improve. You should concentrate on strength building and endurance building exercises, such as running, hiking, swimming. Practice hiking with a backpack or " Bug Out Bag " to get your body used to carrying a heavier load. Make sure to eat right, this doesn't mean you can't have beer and hot-dogs, just don't go overboard. Get any needed medical work done now so that tooth that needs a filling and the new glasses you have been putting off should be on top of your list of things to do.

7. Order to Chaos- Start checking your preps and rechecking them as time goes by. I took a weekend and went step by step and checked all my preps and found things I didn’t even know I had. So do an inventory of your preps and update your list of needed items. This will help you to stay one step ahead with your supplies. You will find as time goes by you will add and take away items from you prep list and this checking will help with that.

8. Keep Your Cool- Will a collapse be extremely stressful, yes. Will you be tired from lack of sleep, be dehydrated, and afraid, very much so. However you need to keep your wits about you. If you are in charge of a group or family and you start to panic or crack what message does that send to the others, especially if those others are children. It will cause them to panic, once you and your group panic then stupid decisions are made, and those stupid decisions will most likely get somebody killed. Even if your ready to fall apart inside its vital to stay calm to keep your group calm who may be looking up to to protect and lead them.

9. Have A Way To Travel - You will need a way to get around other than your feet so have a back up like a bike or two and a cart with wheels like the ones you see at the Home-Depot or other garden stores. Don’t buy one, make one to fit your needs and make it strong to hold a good amount of weight. I plan to make one this summer and I want to make it to fit on to a bike. I want the cart to be able to be pulled by my bike. And remember if you have bikes you will need back up parts for them like tubes and chains and other items to keep them running.

10. Guns and Ammo - You need to have a few guns to keep what is your and a lot of ammo. I will not go into what guns you need because I will get 100 e-mails telling me that I’m wrong and crazy for thinking that way so I will avoid any of that trouble and just tell you I own guns and ammo and think the guns I have are the ones I need, so you need to get the guns you need to keep your family safe. And when you think you have enough ammo double it.

Looking At 1984 Then And Now....


That thing from 1984

It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.
So begins one of the most profound works of political literature, George Orwell’s 1984. The book was originally published in 1949, and yet has provided a persistent exploration of contemporary politics. The book describes a world at war with constantly switching sides and lies. All information is controlled by the state. All institutions are linked to the state and all individuals are dependent on the state.
On April 4, 1984, the main character begins to pen a diary. Winston Smith and everyone around him are strictly controlled in a collective. The collective is so harsh and belittling of the individual that free thinking is illegal, a thought-crime. There is Big Brother, the entity adopted by the state and there is the Brotherhood, a supposed loose group of people who defy Big Brother. Big Brother issues a dictionary that eliminates language with every edition. And the Brotherhood has its own required reading, called The Theory and Practice to Oligarchical Collectivism. It has become known as the book within the book. Oligarchical Collectivism means the linking or joining of institutions, institutions designed to keep control in the hands of the few.

There are three types of institutions in the world, those of state, those of corporate and those of religion. A foundational concept of the United States is, or was, a separation of these institutions to eliminate the potential for oligarchical collectivism. The founding fathers may not have used the term, but they certainly observed such diabolical collectives of institutions, states supported by churches, with corporate functions.
1984 has done in the real world what Orwell supposed the book within the book could do in his fictional world. The book has spawned new terminology and thus new ability to express and explore political concepts which in some cases have occurred for centuries. Some might say that Orwell would not appreciate his penname being adopted and made to express a concept, as in Orwellian. However I think he would be honored that expressions from his fictional masterpiece have enhanced language and added words to the vocabulary of real world.
Respect to George Orwell on this bright cold day in April. Read 1984, for this might be the most Orwellian time period yet, with abundant examples of oligarchical collectivism.

Last Second Things We Should Do....

I think the collapse is coming soon, I may be right or wrong but I think I'm right so there are a few things I have done in the last few weeks to get ready. Today I went to the eye doctor and in a week I will have new reading glasses. A few weeks ago I went to see the dentist and had one filling done. I think we all need to get as much done in the next few weeks to be ready for the collapse. I have been in deep thought over the last few days about my preps and have come the the decision I need to order more parts for my guns. It's great to have guns but after the collapse if my gun breaks and I don't have the parts to fix it then it's just a paper weight. I have covered the cleaning part and I even think I'm doing good on ammo but I need more parts for my guns. It's the little things that will make you have a bad day after the collapse, and I don't want to have any bad days after the collapse, I know I will but I would like to cut down on the amount of them. Start a plan and work on it and get ready for the collapse because it's coming.

Now Is The Time......


Make a stand for your freedom and do it now. Now is the time to show your true patriotic colors and make a stand against the powers to be. This government has show over and over again that it's not for the people by the people, it has show that it's do as we please and screw you if you don't like it. So I say let's show them what we think, I say screw you back and to hell with your evil ways. This government walks on us like we are dirt under their feet and if we say a word about it then we get called right-wing nuts or racists and I'm sick of this BS. I am ready for the collapse and I hope you are to, but I think we may have to fight a full blown 2nd revolution first to fight back against the evil tyranny of this government. This group of leaders in office at this time is the biggest bunch of nuts and crazies I have ever seen, and I'm sure they are just about crazy enough to push martial law onto this country and I see it coming. The time is coming that your freedoms will disappear and it may come slowly or like a thief in the night. My money is like a thief in the night because it's how this cowardly government works. Never in the light of day but under the cover of darkness. Now is the time to make your stand!!! Get your supplies ready and clean your guns and ready your ammo, because evil is just over the hill and night is coming.

My Last Post


My last post was about Patrick Henry and "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death", And I feel as if we will soon be in a life or death fight for our Liberty and our Freedoms. We see that the not so great leaders of this country are pushing our freedoms in a big box and plan to lock it away because they know whats best for us. How dare we think for ourselves or try to do anything without uncle sugar's (Obama) help. We need to sit back and be good little sheep and do as we are told to do. LIKE HELL!!!! I will never just sit by and watch the fools who run this country try to tell me what to do or what to think at any time in my life. I like to have free thoughts and LIBERTY at all times. I don't think that the government should have it's nose in any of my business now or ever. We all need to know the rights we have. Lincoln said"Study the Constitution! Let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislatures, and enforced in courts of justice."

All of our rights come form GOD not the state or federal government!

"You have rights antecedent to all earthly governments; rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws; rights derived from the Great Legislator of The Universe." This was said by John Adams 2nd President of The United States.


We all have rights even if the government doesn't think we need or deserve the rights. Now is the time to make a stand and be strong. Store food, water, medical supplies and other needed supplies to survive the coming collapse. The collapse is near and will be the worse event to ever hit this country. No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope that it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen, if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and
without reserve. This is no time for ceremony. The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty towards the majesty of heaven, which I revere
above all earthly kings. Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope.
We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and
having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation?
For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth -- to know the worst and to provide for it. I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided; and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past.
And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years, to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves and the House? Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received? Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss. Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with these warlike preparations which cover our waters and darken our land. Are fleets
and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation -- the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motives for it? Has Great Britain any
enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us; they can be meant for no other. They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging. And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been
trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer on the
subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it
has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves longer. Sir, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm
which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been
disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne. In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free -- if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending -- if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained, we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!
They tell us, sir, that we are weak -- unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather
strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
Sir, we are not weak, if we make a proper use of the means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There
is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable -- and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come!
It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, “Peace! Peace!” -- but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!

April 1st 2010

I wish some one would tell me OK Pete it's April Fools day and the last four months were just a big joke. But the only joke is that this government is not joking about taking your rights and freedoms. And it looks like every day that goes by that we lose more and more freedoms. Slower and slower the Fed's are taking away your rights. I heard the other day that they want to take the kids toy out of the Happy Meals to help stop childhood obesity. But most people know that the mothers and fathers go to the drive up window for the fast and easy food and most of the time cheap too. It will not make any difference to the families that get fast food if they get or don't get a toy and the only thing that will help our kids from getting fat is to get them up and go out and do stuff. Run or walk for a short walk and get out and do fun things or get out and do some work to help with your preps, like cut wood or plant a garden. Kids of the 2000's are video gamers and couch potato's and do less every year. Hell I heard the US Army cut it's basic training to help them fit in the weaker young people of this day and time. As time goes on I think of the years down the road when the kids will be strong again and do things and work hard everyday to help put food on the table. With the collapse coming the kids here and now are all going to get a very hard wake up call. My friends stand strong and get ready to survive!
