Hardin, Montana under siege!

Hardin, Montana under siege!

September 30, 2009

Today started not unlike any other. Except that one of my friends emailed me a story about how a company called American Police Force has moved into a town south of me called Hardin, and how they were “taking over that jail that was built and never opened”. Now most Montanans are aware of this financial OOPS that was this modern jail. It was built, and never opened because it was not built to specs in accordance with prisoner housing requirements pursuant to Montana State Law.

When I started reading the KULR 8 news stations reports on this “American Police Force”, it immediately made me suspicious as that is totally against the idea of police. Our police are hired and mandated by the local governments they are local to. They are required to go to what’s called POST, or Peace Officer’s Standards of Training. This school is mandatory by Montana Law prior to be appointed as a “sworn peace officer”.
With these concerns in mind, I started making phone calls. I started with Becky Shay, who was the Billings Gazette reporter who initially broke the story. I spent an hour and a half with her and talked about all of the details. She and I had a positive talk where she assured me that she was “thankful for the chance to be able to talk to people like me.” I was appalled to hear that this company had “no intention of revealing who their parent company is”. Ms. Shay confided in me that she went from a reporter’s salary and conditions “driving a ‘99 Dodge Intrepid with a broken tie rod and bad front brakes”, to “a brand new black SUV that she doesn’t have to pay the gas bill for”. My jaw was on the floor. Story breaker straight to the being the mouth of the beast…
Ms. Shay also told me that there are people in Hardin that are so grateful for APF’s presence, that they literally opened their homes to her if she needed a place to say. Now this SOUNDS great and all, but it also sounded very manufactured. This conversation went down as if Ms. Shay was trying to sell me something. I read some things about how APF arrived in Hardin, Montana with the words: Hardin Police on the door. This is IMPERSONATING A POLICE OFFICER. They had NO RIGHT to bear that title. They are NOT sworn as peace officers. They have NO AUTHORITY!

It was shortly before I ended this call on a positive note, that Ms. Shay expressed a GREAT interest in talking to Alex. I told her that I would be contacting the AJ show. I was told by her that I was TOTALLY 100% OK’d to use ALL of the content in any further correspondence. I then called Mr. Al Pedersen who is the Executive Director of Two Rivers Authority, the financial entity that is in charge of attempting to rebuild Hardin’s infrastructure. I asked Mr. Pedersen to elaborate how a private military company could move into a town, take over a prison that did not meet Montana Code, and dare to emblazon “Hardin Police” on their doors…Mr. Pedersen cursed me out, and hung up on me. I called him back, got his voicemail, and left the message that since he could not see fit to talk to me civilly, that I would be calling all of my elected officials as well as CNN and CSPAN. No reply.
I then proceeded to call KULR8 news in Billings, Montana. They expressed concern about how a near 20 year career reporter could simply sell out and go to work for the very company SHE ousted! The person I spoke to said, “she got herself a bigger paycheck, can’t fault her for that!”. This person also conceded that it was a sell out situation, and was sick. I than called the Office of the Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer. The person who answered the phone assured me that Gov. Schweitzer was watching this situation and would see to it that there was NOTHING illegal or unconstitutional going on, and that his office would NOT allow these people to overstep any legal boundaries. They didn’t want to talk about how the APF showed up labelled as “police”. This conversation was abruptly ended by the intern.
I then called the Office of Max Baucus’ Billings location who denied any knowledge. Although Schweitzer, Baucus, and Mt Senator Jon Tester were sued by Two Rivers Authority to allow this prison to be used by a private entity…wherein a judge overturned Montana Law in order to allow this prison to be used privately without disclosing where the prisoners are coming from, or their nature. This company is known to be affiliated with Blackwater Security now known as XE, as well as other PMC’s.

Seize babies born to unwed women........

WorldNetDaily Exclusive
Holdren: Seize babies born to unwed women
Proposed government force adoption if mother refused to get abortion

By Jerome R. Corsi

Obama science czar John Holdren stated in a college textbook that "illegitimate children" born to unwed mothers could be taken by the government and put up for adoption if the mother refused to have an abortion.

Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, argued that "illegitimate childbearing could be strongly discouraged" as a socioeconomic measure imposed to control population growth.

As previously reported, WND has obtained a copy of the 1970s college textbook "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" that Ehrlich co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul R. Ehrlich and Ehrlich's wife, Anne. The authors argued involuntary birth-control measures, including forced sterilization, may be necessary and morally acceptable under extreme conditions, such as widespread famine brought about by "climate change."

On page 786, the authors wrote that one way to discourage illegitimate childbearing "might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption – especially those born to minors who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone."

Alternatively, the authors suggested unwed mothers might place their babies up for adoption, writing: "If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it."

While observing that government-imposed coercive measures should be considered "only if milder measures fail completely," the authors acknowledged extreme ecological situations could justify governmental intervention with coercive population control measures,

"It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society," they write.

(Story continues below)

The U.S. National Center for Health Statistics reports that in 2005, 68.8 percent of all African-American babies were born to unmarried women, while 30.5 percent of all white babies and 48 percent of all Hispanic babies were born out of wedlock.

Regarding teenage mothers, the federal agency reports the figures in 2005 were 16.8 percent of all births for African-Americans, 13.9 percent for Hispanics and 9.2 percent for whites.

'General social deterioration'

The authors' wish to control births to unwed and teenage mothers appears to derive from their concern that overpopulation leads to "general social deterioration."

For instance, on page 838, they wrote the following: "If some individuals contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children, and if the need is compelling, they can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility – just as they can be required to exercise responsibility in their resource-consumption patterns – providing they are not denied equal protection." (Italics in original text.)

Nor do the authors see any constitutional protection for the right to bear children.

"Some people – respected legislators, judges, and lawyers included – have viewed the right to have children as a fundamental and inalienable right," the authors continued on page 838. "Yet neither the Declaration of Independence nor the Constitution mentions a right to reproduce."

In a similar fashion, the authors argued that a right to privacy did not extend to an unlimited right to have children, elaborating on page 838 that, "Where the society has a 'compelling, subordinating interest' in regulating population size, the right of the individual may be curtailed. If society's survival depended on having more children, women could be required to bear children, just as men can constitutionally be required to serve in the armed forces. Similarly, given a crisis caused by overpopulation, reasonably necessary laws to control excessive reproduction could be enacted."

Coercive population control

Holdren and the Ehrlichs concede compulsory population control measures if implemented to prevent disasters resulting from uncontrolled population growth will be distasteful to those with moral objections.

Arguing that voluntary measures of family planning and birth control might not be enough, Holdren and the Ehrlichs wrote on page 783 that compulsory birth control methods would need to be implemented when "massive famines, political unrest, or ecological disasters make their initiation imperative."

In further defining this "disaster exception" in which compulsory methods including forced abortions and sterilization might become acceptable, if not necessary, Holdren and the Ehrlichs wrote on the same page: "In such emergencies, whatever measures are economically and technologically expedient will be likeliest to be imposed, regardless of their political or social acceptability."

And again, continuing on the same page, the authors wrote of compulsory population control measures: "Policies that may seem totally unacceptable today to the majority of people at large or to their national leaders may be seen as very much the lesser of evils only a few years from now."

On page 784, the authors conclude the section by commenting: "Given the family size aspirations of people every, additional measures beyond family planning will unquestionably be required in order to halt the population explosion – quite possible in many DCs [developed countries] as well as LDCs [less developed countries]."

In a section of the textbook on pages 786-789 devoted to considering "involuntary fertility control," Holdren and the Ehrlichs discuss a variety of methodologies, including: an effort in the 1960s to vasectomize all fathers of three or more children in India; an effort in China to sterilize mothers after their third child; the development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired; the government issuance of a license entitling a woman to a given number of children; and adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods.

While in the next sentence the authors are careful to say a "far better choice" would be to control population by the "milder methods of influencing family size," they also insist in the same sentence that efforts should be redoubled "to ensure that the means of birth control, including abortion and sterilization, are accessible to every human being on Earth within the shortest possible time."

In the last sentence of the section on "involuntary fertility control," the authors make clear even the most radical methods discussed in the section are morally acceptable to them under the write conditions of population emergency.

"If effective action is taken against population growth," the authors note, "perhaps the need for the more extreme involuntary or repressive measures can be averted in most countries."

"Compulsory control of family size is an unpalatable idea, but the alternatives may be much more horrifying," the authors concluded. "As those alternatives become clearer to an increasing number of people in the 1980s, they may begin demanding such control."

Among the crises resulting from overpopulation that Holdren and the Ehrlichs saw as justifying government-imposed involuntary fertility control measures were "ecological collapses of various kinds, large-scale crop failures due to ecological stress or changes in climate and leading to mass famine; severe resource shortages, which could lead either to crop failures or to problems or both; epidemic diseases; wars over diminishing resources; perhaps even thermo-nuclear war.

"The list of possibilities is long, and over-population enhances the probability that any one of them will occur," Holdren and the Erhlichs wrote on page 796. "Population control may be no panacea, but with it there is no way to win."

'Sustainable well-being'

The St. Petersburg Times' fact-check website, Politifact.com, argued that in his Senate confirmation hearings, Holdren disavowed "optimal population" targets, a central thesis of the 1970s textbook, as a proper role of government.

While Holdren may have abandoned "optimal population" targets as a principle of public policy, an address he gave as president of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, subsequently published in Science Magazine in January 2008, shows he has adopted instead the standard of "sustainable well-being" as a guiding principle that could be utilized to set targets for acceptable population growth.

In that article, Holdren listed "continuing population growth" as a hindrance to realizing "sustainable well-being," a point he supported by footnoting Paul Ehrlich's 1968 book "The Population Bomb," thereby linking his current thinking with his 1970s-era thinking.

In that footnote, Holdren wrote that the "elementary but discomforting truth" of Ehrlich's 1968 book "may account for the vast amount of ink, paper, and angry energy that has been expended in vain to refute it."

Holdren's "sustainable well-being" appears a nearly identical concept to what is known as the United Nation's "Agenda 21", articulating the concept of "sustainable development" that is currently institutionalized in the Division for Sustainable Development of the U.N. Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

What Will Be The Trigger Event to Start The Collapse

I have been thinking about what and when the trigger event will be. And when the collapse comes how long will it last? Are we in the trigger event now and it's just a slow slide into the collapse. I lay in bed at night and think of what could start the whole think. If you read the news you can see about ten different things that could be the start of the collapse. Iran getting nukes, rise in violence in Afghanistan and the US push to go into Pakistan and the H1N1 Flu and the push for us all to take the shots with this and much more I feel as if the end is so near. I prep just as much today as 5, 10 or 15 years ago. I just feel a little better about my preps today. I don't ever think I will feel like I'm done or I'm 100% ready. I just read and watch the things that happen in this world and prep just as always one day at a time. And I think everyday what will be the trigger to set this whole thing off. Keep your eye's open and your powder dry, because the NWO is coming and they never sleep.

Survival Skills #24 Quick preparedness things We all can do.

Survival Skills # 24
Quick preparedness things We all can do.

#1 Once a month check over your list of food and see what you need to work on to add to the pantry. You should have a shopping list for your trip to the store.

#2 Every month or so check your bug out plan and update any route that may need to be changed. A road may be closed or under construction and be blocked or hard to get through. So make needed altering to your bug out plan.

#3 Check your smoke detectors. The once a year thing is not cool, check it every other month.

#4 Check and service if needed your fire extinguishers. And if you don’t have any…..Get some ASAP, every home in this country needs at least one for the kitchen. And if you have a shop or shed for yard working tools you need one there to.

#5 Take a CPR/First Aid Class, or if you have the time take a EMT class.

#6 Put ICE in your cell phone for the person you want them to call in an emergency. ICE= In Case of Emergency. If you are ever in a car crash or other emergency and you can’t call someone will be able to do it for you.

#7 Check your survival kits. Check and restock your car kit, BOB kit and any other kits that need to be updated.

#8 Check and restock your First-Aid Kit, add new items and remove any that are not needed.

#9 Run an anti-virus scan on your computer. Do this at least once a month.

#10 Make sure you have extra cash in your wallet, small bills at least $50-$100, and I always keep about $3-$5 in change in my truck.

#11 Work on your time management, make a list of things you need to do for the next day and add a list for the upcoming weekend. Make sure you add a preparedness item to your list. Every thing we get done today is one thing less we have do tomorrow.

#12 Make a Master list of all supplies and check off needed items as you get them. You should have a priority list for items you need ASAP and work on it.

#13 Every 3-6 months do a test for your family plan. Check everyone’s BOB and check to see if everyone knows there job for the Bug out or for staying in place. Every one should have a job to do and know it.

Survival Skills # 23 How to Prepare a 72-hour Emergency Preparedness Kit

Survival Skills # 23
How to Prepare a 72-hour Emergency Preparedness Kit

From eHow

A 72-hour emergency preparedness kit can be a lifesaver when disaster strikes. While it's good to have a long-term supply of food, water and other necessities, a portable three-day emergency kit is important to have on hand in case you need to evacuate your home. Having your own supply of the basics for the first 72 hours after an emergency will keep you alive and well until further help arrives, which can take up to three days or longer. There are many kits available on the market, but by making your own, you can save money and customize it for your family's needs.

Things You'll Need:
Container or bag for kit or
Water-proof plastic container for kit
Freezer Ziploc bags
Food supplies
Bic Lighter X 2
Water
First aid supplies
Medicine and toiletries
Fuel sources
Light sources
Protection from the elements
Extra clothing and bedding
Personal documents
Money (Small Bills)

Step 1
Choose an appropriate container for your kit. A large backpack for each member of your family is a good option. If your family members get separated, each person still has what they need. Duffel bags are another option. You'll want something that is easy to carry in the event you need to walk a long distance.
Step 2
Gather water and food supplies for your kit. Choose items that don't need to be cooked, such as granola bars and canned foods, but be sure to have at least one good working can opener. Other possible foods could include trail mix, canned meats, dried fruits, crackers, powdered milk and juice. Don't forget to take into consideration special dietary needs of infants or the elderly. It's also a good idea to have a mess kit in each backpack. Comfort foods, such as candy or gum, can provide some stress-relief during an emergency. Water is vital to have in a 72-hour kit, not only for drinking, but also for sanitary purposes. Try to have at least a gallon per person.
Step 3
Have a first aid kit and toiletries in each backpack. You can buy a commercially prepared first aid kit, or you can put together your own. Don't forget to include any prescription and non-prescription medications. Keep toiletries and other items water-proofed by sealing them in a Ziploc bag. Make sure backpacks include toilet paper, a toothbrush and toothpaste, wipes, hand sanitizer, feminine products, diapers and cleaning supplies, such as dish soap and a washcloth.
Step 4
Have fuel and light available. Provide a good quality flashlight for each backpack. Remove batteries from the flashlight before storing to avoid leakage. Be sure to have extra batteries as well as flares, waterproof matches and lighters.
Step 5
Provide protection from the elements. You don't know if shelter will be available when an emergency arises, so it's good to be prepared. Have a blanket for each person. You can buy Mylar blankets specifically designed for emergency kits, or you could use sleeping bags or wool blankets. Include a sturdy tarp and some rope to provide a makeshift shelter. Each person will also need a change of clothes, and, if possible, an extra pair of sturdy shoes.
Step 6
Have personal documents on hand. Keep documents (or a copy, if possible) in a waterproof container. Be sure to include any legal documents, such as birth certificates, wills and passports. Also include insurance policies, immunization records, genealogy records and religious documents.

Survival Skills # 22 How to Keep a Three Month Emergency Food Supply

Survival Skills # 22
How to Keep a Three Month Emergency Food Supply

By Wasatch at eHow

Step 1
There are many reasons for keeping a good supply of food on hand for an emergency. A good winter storm can keep you snowed in for a week. A natural disaster like earthquake or major storm could leave you isolated for awhile. A truckers strike, Even job loss could be a good reason to have enough food to not worry as much until you find work and get your first check at a new job.
Step 2
My family consists of my wife and I and 4 kids. I figured for a 3 month supply of food I would round up to 100 of each meal. By that I mean I wanted on hand in storage 100 breakfasts, 100 lunches, and 100 dinners.
Step 3
I took a notebook and made a page for breakfast first. I made a graph with 100 squares. A large bag of pancake mix showed that it made 80 servings of 4 pancakes each. Being a family of 6 people, 80 servings was a bit over 13 breakfasts. I bought 3 large bottles of syrup and marked off 13 breakfasts on my chart. I then bought a # 10 can of powdered egg from a camping and emergency supply store. It was the equivalent of 200 eggs in powdered form (just add water). I figured 3 eggs each person so 11 breakfasts. I now had 24 meals in the pantry. I bought a 12 can case of canned peaches and counted that as a can per person. 2 more breakfasts. Then I bought 10 boxes of cold cereal and figured 5 more. These I keep rotating if I buy a new box, but keep 10 in storage. I kept this up until I had 100 breakfasts stored away.
Step 4
Now I moved to lunches. I bought a case of tuna fish, a few large jars of peanut butter, and ingredients to make homemade bread. I bought several cases of canned stew. I bought a few cans of powdered juice mix like Tang. I bought dry pasta and bottled spaghetti sauce. Boxed Mac and Cheese. I kept going until I had 100 lunches marked in my book. I did not do this all at once. I looked for good items on sale and added about $10.00 to $20.00 to a grocery trip for stored items. The key was keeping track of the number of meals for my family.
Step 5
Next I did the same with dinners. When I was done with basic meals I added honey, pudding mixes, hard candy, pumpkin pie filling, raisins, and other treats.
Step 6
Now if I ever use from items storage I buy something to replace it. I try to stay with things we use anyway. If I buy a bag of pancake mix I put the new bag in storage and use the old one. In buying this way I can shop for a case of whatever is on the best sale and save big. When canned beans are on sale I buy a case and put it in storage and bring something up for use now. I feel great having the supply there for emergency use. When I changed companies I work for mid year we had a month lag until I got a paycheck. Having the food storage and having it be types food we usually eat anyway made us feel much more comfortable. I try to buy lots of fresh produce and use my storage just when needed. I now have a 2 week supply of water as well. I also buy laundry detergent, toilet paper, toothpaste and other daily use items in a larger quantity and put some in storage when I find a big sale.

It Is Going To Be A Rocky Road

It Is Going To Be A Rocky Road
Posted On Infowars.com
By Chuck Baldwin
September 22, 2009

Let’s face it: most Americans live in a world of false security. This is somewhat understandable, given the fact that the majority of the U.S. population was born after 1945. Few remember the dangers and hardships of World War II; fewer still remember the Great Depression. Few Americans know what it’s like to not have some sort of “super-center” nearby with shelves stocked with every kind of food imaginable, twenty-four hours a day. Few know what life was like before there were restaurants of all sizes and types on virtually every street corner in America. And only a handful remembers when most roads were unpaved, or when sports were truly a pastime and not a megabuck obsession. The paranoia regarding the Swine Flu being demonstrated by both government and media spokesmen begs a giant push for some type of “government solution.”
Modern living within the world’s only “superpower” has created a giant unsuspecting, soft, lackadaisical, and lethargic society. We expect the government to keep our streets safe, our roads paved, our stores stocked, our jobs secure, and our enemies at bay. However, in the desire to make government the panacea for all our problems, we have sold not only our independence, but also our virtue.
Where the federal government was contracted (via the U.S. Constitution) to accept limited power for the overall good of both states and people, it has become a monster of gargantuan proportions, claiming authority over virtually every liberty and right known to man. And in the process, it decided it didn’t need God, either.
It is no hyperbole to say that the U.S. federal government has been on a “Ban God” bandwagon for the past 50 years. Whether it kicks prayer and Bible reading out of school, bars military chaplains from praying in Jesus’ name, burns Bibles in Iraq, removes state supreme court chief justices from their positions for posting the Ten Commandments, or threatens high school principals with jail for asking the blessing, the federal government has invoked the judgment of Heaven upon our country as surely as did Old Testament Israel.
Although the comfortable, sports-crazed, TV addicts probably aren’t paying attention, this country is on the verge of an implosion like you cannot believe. For anyone who cares to notice, the signs are everywhere.
First of all, Israel and Iran are on the verge of war. And right now, I’m not concentrating on the “why” or “who’s right or wrong” of the equation. I’m simply telling you, war between Israel and Iran could break out at any time. And when it does, the chances that it will not become nuclear and not become global are miniscule. Yes, I am saying it: the prospects for nuclear war have never been greater. The CBS-canceled TV show, JERICHO, could become a reality in these United States in the very near future. (I strongly urge readers to purchase both seasons of JERICHO and watch them, because this could be our future.)
Secondly, America is on the verge of total financial collapse. By the end of this year, America’s budget deficit will stand at around $2 trillion. The debt gap is many trillions more than that. But the nail in the coffin for America’s fiscal health will be the decision by China to dump the U.S. dollar. Ladies and gentlemen, this will be the death knell for our financial stability (and a painful lesson in sowing and reaping).
It is estimated that China owns around one-third of all U.S. debt. If and when China dumps the U.S. dollar, there would be nothing left to stabilize it, and Weimar Republic/Zimbabwe-style inflation will ensue. America will be thrust into financial chaos. (If one doubts that China is planning to dump the dollar, consider that China is currently purchasing and stockpiling gold at an unprecedented level. This is why gold has suddenly surged to over $1,000 per ounce and why it will continue to rise.)
Third, the paranoia regarding the Swine Flu being demonstrated by both government and media spokesmen begs a giant push for some type of “government solution.” If they keep hyping this “pandemic,” mass hysteria and fear (created by the government and its lackeys in the media) will result. This would, no doubt, necessitate some form of forced vaccination, quarantine (maybe this is what all those internment camps will be used for), and martial law.
Exactly how and when all of the above will actually materialize is yet to be seen. There is no doubt in my mind, however, that within the next few months, the world that we know today is going to vanish. And most Americans are totally unprepared for what’s coming.
If you are able to get out of debt, do it. If you need to scale down your lifestyle in order to be better prepared for difficult days, do it. If you don’t have guns and ammo, buy them. If you have not prepared some sort of preserved food pantry, do it. If you don’t have some kind of survival plan in place for you and your family, get one. If you are not physically fit, get in shape. If you are able to move to a more secure, out-of-harm’s-way location, do it. (During any kind of financial or societal meltdown, urban areas will quickly turn into war zones. Can anyone say, “New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina”?) In other words, get your nose out of the boob tube, get your bottom off the easy chair, and get busy.
Am I worried or discouraged? Absolutely not! (But I am preparing.) The potential good that may result from all of the above is that perhaps God will protect and raise up a remnant of people who would be willing to rebuild a place where Natural Law is respected, constitutional government is revered, and where a ubiquitous, loathsome, overbearing federal government is far, far away. You know, like America’s Founding Fathers did 233 years ago.
In the meantime, get ready. It’s going to be a rocky road.

Bernanke the Dollar-Destroyer and the Coming Stock Market Crash

Bernanke the Dollar-Destroyer and the Coming Stock Market Crash
Bob Chapman
The International Forecaster

From Infowars.com
September 21, 2009

To borrow from an old joke about politicians, we ask our subscribers if they know how to tell when Helicopter Ben Bernanke, the current Fed Head, is lying. Answer: Whenever his lips are moving. Now we hear from the Dollar-Destroyer that our recession has technically ended (heaven forbid that we should call our current Fed-caused calamity a depression, which is what it has been since Obama took office) . So we guess that we should take his word for it, seeing that every call he has made during his short tenure as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board has been 100% wrong.
Surely you’re joking, Mr. Bernanke!!! Apparently, we are just supposed to ignore our tanking dollar, rising unemployment, ever-weakening consumer spending (which only accounts for 70% of our GDP), a moribund real estate market, trillions in losses lying dormant in the zombie bank mark-to-model scam, not to mention all the off-the-books losses in derivatives pawned off on bank customers after Glass-Steagall was repealed as well as a glowing, smoking Quadrillion Dollar Derivative Death Star waiting to go supernova to the tune of tens of trillions in losses that will vaporize the entire world banking system thanks to the total deregulation of OTC derivatives courtesy of the Commodities Futures Modernization Act. Then there are the ongoing multi-trillion dollar money siphons in Iraq and Afghanistan, thousands of banks, including all the "anointed" legacy banks, that are buried in derivatives and about to fail, a bankrupt Social Security System, a totally naked FDIC, a Fed printing trillions of dollars out of thin air, in secret, without any accountability, and future multi-trillion dollar budget deficits being incurred to keep a totally comatose economy on artificial, taxpayer-sponsored life support. If that sounds like the end of a recession to the people on planet earth, then beam us up Scotty, we’re on a planet full of psychopaths suffering from hallucinations and delusions of grandeur. Oh, and Scotty, make sure you remember to beam our gold and silver up with us. We’re certainly going to need it the next time we come back to Planet Earth for an exploratory visit to see if the collective, ongoing phantasmagoric, mushroom-induced hallucinations of its inhabitants have finally run their course.
Note that open interest for the USDX, after rising to a little over 41,000, which is above average, has suddenly collapsed to below 34,000 as of 9/16/09. The dollar is no longer being defended because the Illuminist cabal plans to take the stock markets up to a blow off interim top around Dow 10,000 to 10,500 with a final short-covering rally either this week, or perhaps the middle of next month, as general stock market options expire. They will then attempt to orchestrate a major stock market correction, which is now long expected and long overdue, just as gold and silver really start to take off.
The only question is, how long and how high will they try to take the stock markets before the long awaited correction is allowed to occur as the PPT withdraws its support. The answer, as usual, will be determined by the gold and silver markets, and the strength of their now ongoing rallies. If the rallies in gold and silver get out of hand as hundreds of millions of Chinese and Indians jump on the gold and silver bandwagons while China reneges on its losses in OTC gold and silver shorts, you can count on a major stock market correction immediately. Another tip off will be a large jump in open interest for USDX futures contracts again, this time probably to well above the 50,000 level. This will be the dollar’s and treasury’s last hurrah as the Illuminati will be immediately forced to recommence the stock rally or face the defeat of any and all of their proposed legislation on Goldman Sachs’ "cap and trade" scam, on the Obama-Kennedy-Kavorkian Euthanasia Plan and on the military expenditures for Afghanistan. After citizens watch their pensions and mutual funds nose-dive toward oblivion for a second time, they will immediately decide that they can’t afford to spend another penny. Crashing stock markets beyond a 50% correction would thoroughly discredit Obama’s Stimulus Pork Plan and would also put crushing pressure on the Fed. Unless the stock markets recover quickly, the sheople will scream for the Fed’s blood and the Audit the Fed bill will become a foregone conclusion.
A stock market crash will make people downright venomous toward this cabal of middle class pauper-makers. The Illuminati are now caught between a rock and hard place. If they don’t crash the stock markets, the tanking dollar and treasuries will be toast and gold and silver will rip them a new one and expose their mishandling of our money supply and our economy. If they crash the stock markets to put an obstruction in the path of gold and silver, they risk political annihilation, legislative suicide and an audit of the Fed, which will be followed by a hue and cry for its termination when everyone finds out how thoroughly they have been screwed for the past 95+ years. Their options are weak and few. All they can do is play the obstructionist with bogus delay tactics, but in the end they will get buried.
If they fail to take gold and silver down low enough to cover, a distinct possibility, the cartel’s shorts will get vaporized, and gold and silver will go on a moon-shot. They are now fighting the combined populations of China, India, Japan, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Germany and most of Western Europe, as well as the governments of Germany, China (especially the region of Hong Kong) and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, whose gold they have stolen, leased or encumbered. These nations, who foolishly entrusted their bullion to the US Illuminist cabal, have been left exposed as sitting ducks for a hyperinflationary supernova. These countries are hopping mad about this, and all they have on their minds now is self-preservation and vengeance. Due to the ongoing financial debacles and bailouts going on globally, and the profligate policies of central banks worldwide that are causing fiat currencies everywhere to lose ground against gold, people will be looking to precious metals for an alternative to paper assets denominated in fiat currencies.
We would highly suggest that Buck-Busting Ben Bernanke and the twelve Presidents of the regional Federal Reserve Banks make arrangements for the international banking cabal’s version of The Last Supper. We hear through the grapevine that an "Upper Room" is available in the US Capitol Building. You can bet Ben will be running for his helicopter before the crucifixion gets under way! Obama and the twelve members of the Federal Open Market Committee can then do a repeat performance (but without Ben who will be long gone in his helicopter). You can bet Obama will be headed for Air Force One for a one-way trip to Kenya, or Indonesia, or wherever the heck he really comes from! Where is the Border Patrol and ICE when you need them to remove an illegal alien!?
Friday September 18th is the day our government will no longer guarantee money market funds. In anticipation of this event professionals have been moving funds out of these vehicles; some 15% over the past month. What the administration, and particularly the Treasury want to do is try to get those funds directly into Treasuries and into banks. From our point of view neither are safe, nor are credit unions. Those funds should move into gold and silver related assets and for those who must have currency liquidity, those funds should go into Canadian and Swiss Treasuries to profit from the continued fall in the US dollar. You must get your money out of banks, US government debt and anything connected with the US stock and bond markets. The exception being gold and silver shares. All major American banks, which hold 70% of deposits, are broke and so is the FDIC. You have no insurance unless you are willing to accept $0.30 on the dollar. You must be out of all these vehicles. The money market funds are loaded with suspect corporate debt never mind Treasury debt. We recommended Swiss and Canadian Treasuries some time ago. The dollar has fallen and all these thousands of investors have made money. Get out of money market funds. Already 1/3rd of these funds have had their NAV’s below a dollar since 7/07. They are still holding some very risky paper. Almost 40% is in CD’s of foreign banks, 10% in short-term corporate paper and over 12% in medium-term corporate paper. About 68% is in taxable non-government funds. You will see a great decline in money market fund assets as holders foolishly transfer the funds into FDIC-insured accounts, CD’s and Treasury instruments of one form or another. The only real safe place to go is to gold and silver related assets and if you must Canadian and Swiss Treasuries.
Commercial paper rose $16.1 billion; asset backed CP rose $18.1 billion versus $6.2 billion the previous week. ABCP outstanding was $501.5 billion versus $483.5 billion the prior week. Unsecured financial CP issuance fell $9.7 billion versus $6.2 billion.
Capital from foreign sources was $612 billion in 2007 and $675 billion in 2008. This year in May it was -$54.6 billion; -$57 billion in June, -$56.8 in July and -$97.5 billion in August.
Capital is leaving at an accelerating rate. This means interest rates should be raised. The Fed is monetizing and in all likelihood that will increase and that will lead to a currency crisis. The Fed has said it will ease quantitative easing, but if it does the stock and bond market will fall. If they increase there will be a currency crisis. There is now no question the dollar is being sacrificed. The idea is to allow it to fall incrementally and as slowly as possible.
We have continued to state the Amero will not replace the dollar and that it is and has been a false issue. The dollar will be replaced by another dollar in either 2010, 2011 or 2012. As we explained in early May when the dollar was 89.5 on the USDX, that this was the top. Next stop by the end of October would be 71.18, or at least by yearend. After that comes 40 to 55 and then an official devaluation and default; as all currencies and debt would be dealt with at a special meeting involving all countries.
Debt in the banking system is going to be absorbed by the Fed. Almost all major banks are bankrupt. That is why you do not want to have much money in banks and no CD’s; cash value life policies or annuities. Next year we will witness a second round of debt write offs and a crisis in the derivative market. If the Fed doesn’t monetize the debt the system will collapse, but then again there may be no Fed if HR1207 becomes law. Every problem would then lie in the lap of the Treasury. The American financial system is unsustainable and our foreign wars and occupations will come to a close in 2010 or 2011. The cost will no longer be sustainable. The US stock and bond markets will fall and you will not want to own any US government obligations. It could be that the role-played by the Fed, if the Fed is replaced, could in part be played by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase. Due to the Fed’s absorption of bad assets it could be that the Fed will self-destruct in the process of being legislatively being eliminated. Recovery of the US economy would then depend economically on tariffs on goods and services to bring manufacturing back to America.
A CBS News blogger named Declan McCullagh seized on the documents, which CEI obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, and said: "The Obama administration has privately concluded that a cap and trade law would cost American taxpayers up to $200 billion a year, the equivalent of hiking personal income taxes by about 15 percent." He added: "At the upper end of the administration’s estimate, the cost per American household would be an extra $1,761 a year."
The Bank Implode-o-meter: Wells Fargo’s Commercial Portfolio is a ticking time bomb.
In order to sort through the disaster that is Wells Fargo’s commercial loan portfolio, the bank has hired help from outside experts to pour over the books… and they are shocked with what they are seeing. Not only do the bank’s outstanding commercial loans collectively exceed the property values to which they are attached, but derivative trades leftover from its acquisition of Wachovia are creating another set of problems for the already beleaguered San Francisco-based mega-bank, Wachovia, which Wells purchased last fall as it teetered on the brink of collapse, was so desperate to increase revenue in the last few years of its existence that it underwrote loans with shoddy standards and paid off traders to take them off their books.
According to sources currently working out these loans at Wells Fargo and confirmed by Dan Alpert of Westwood Capital, when selling tranches of commercial mortgage-backed securities below the super senior tranche, Wachovia promised to pay the buyer’s risk premium by writing credit default swap contracts against these subordinate bonds. Should the junior tranches eventually default, then the bank is on the hook.
For the past 14 years, the gap between the two measures has grown persistently, with operating earnings topping GAAP earnings by an average of $2.47 a share per quarter.
When using a 10-year trailing average of earnings to erase cyclical gyrations, operating earnings are nearly 24% higher than GAAP earnings, the highest ever.
It isn’t clear why the difference has grown so wide. One inescapable conclusion is that, since 1995, either by happy accident or accounting shenanigans, one-time losses have grown more quickly than one- time gains, elevating the operating earnings that Wall Street watches.
The investment implications are many. For one thing, two earnings measures produce two market valuations. The S&P 500 trades at 21 times the past 10 years’ GAAP earnings and 17 times operating earnings. Neither is exactly cheap, but one is much pricier than the other.
Japan urges talks on US military base Japan considers revision of a deal with the US to relocate a military base to be a top diplomatic priority, Tokyo’s newly appointed foreign minister has told the Financial Times, waving aside concerns that reopening the agreement could undermine the alliance between the countries.
The declaration by Katsuya Okada, a senior member of Japan’s ruling Democratic Party (DPJ), highlights the international implications of the party’s determination to set a more independent diplomatic agenda. GQ excerpts Speech-Less: Tales of a White House Survivor by ex-Bush speechwriter Matt Latimer:
We wrote speeches nearly every time the stock market flipped. Meanwhile, the White House seemed to have ceded all of its authority on economic matters to the secretive secretary of the treasury…(In the weeks that followed, Paulson changed his spending priorities two or three times. Incredibly, he’d been given the power to do with that money virtually anything he pleased. All thanks to a president who didn’t understand his proposal and a Congress that didn’t stop to think….)
Chris had just come from a secret meeting in the Oval Office, and without so much as a hello he announced: “Well, the economy is about to completely collapse.”
You mean the stock market?” I asked.
“No, I mean the entire U.S. economy,” he replied. As in, capitalism. As in, hide your money in your mattress.
The Secretary of the Treasury, Hank Paulson, had sketched out a dire scenario. And Chris said we’d have to write a speech for the president announcing his “bold” plan to deal with the crisis. (The president loved the word bold.) The plan… Basically, it could be summed up as: Give me hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars and then trust me to do the right thing…In some cases, in fact, Secretary Paulson wanted to pay more than the securities were likely worth in order to put more money into the markets as soon as possible. This was not how the president’s proposal had been advertised to the public or the Congress. It wasn’t that the president didn’t understand what his administration wanted to do. It was that the treasury secretary didn’t seem to know, changed his mind, had misled the president, or some combination of the three.
When White House press secretary Dana Perino was told that 77 percent of the country thought we were on the wrong track, she said what I was thinking: “Who on earth is in the other 23 percent?” I knew who they were—the same people supporting the John McCain campaign. Me? I figured there was no way in hell any Republican would vote for that guy. John McCain, the temperamental media darling, had spent most of the past eight years running against the Republican Party and the president—Republicans on Capitol Hill and at the White House hated him. Choosing John McCain as our standard-bearer would be the height of self-delusion.
He [Bush] paused for a minute. I could see him thinking maybe he shouldn’t say it, but he couldn’t resist. “If bullshit was currency,” he said straight-faced, “Joe Biden would be a billionaire.” Everyone in the room burst out laughing.
The latest propaganda on quantitative easing and reining it in reaches us. Evidentially the G-20 meeting in Pittsburgh later this month will put together a roadmap outlining how to reverse previous stimulation of world economics. If that happens the world financial structure will collapse. They know that just as well as we do. The IMF wants the G-20 to coordinate the unwinding of these efforts. Of course, the players all know inflation is on the way and they want to make people think they are going to do something about it. Even the Fed says it is ending quantitative easing at the end of the fiscal year on 9/31/09. We know that cannot be true with the Treasury issuing $2 trillion in bonds in this coming fiscal year.

How to Do Food Storage in a Small Space

By LilacGirl at eHow

Most people have heard about the wisdom of having some food put by for a month, (or for much longer periods of time), in case of hard times, emergencies, disasters, or in case of a recession. We don't all have a pantry or even a large kitchen however, so where is all that food you're storing supposed to go?

Step 1
After you've decided how much food to store, what kinds of food to store, and then after you've bought that food, the next step is proper storage. You can't store food in places that are too hot or too cold, or that are damp, so basements, attics, garages and outside sheds are not usually suitable.

The best place for food storage is a pantry devoted to just food, but not many houses have a pantry any more so you're going to have to get creative and find other places for all those cans and buckets of food.
Step 2
If you have room in your kitchen, or maybe in a guest room or an office, you can turn a corner into a food storage pantry. Place two bookshelves in the corner, with one being right up against both walls, and the other against one wall on one side, and then up against the other bookshelf. Fill the shelves with food and place buckets of food storage in front of the two shelves. You can even hang a curtain from a rod that goes across this corner if you want. The curtain would completely cover your food pantry, making it look like a corner closet.
Step 3
Another idea I've seen people use is to purchase a large metal garbage can, place bags of rice or beans or whatever in it, and then cover the top with a round wooden table top. You can place this can on the side of your couch or somewhere, and then you cover it with a tablecloth for a round table and that's exactly what it looks like, a covered table. No one would know it was full of food storage.
Step 4
If you have a lot of pails or buckets of food you can stack them against the wall behind your couch, two high and one deep if that works, then place a board the same size on top of the buckets, and push your couch right back up against them. It will just look like you have a sofa table behind your couch.
Step 5
Utilize your home wall space as efficiently as possible. If you have a hallway near your kitchen, line it with bookshelves and fill the shelves with your food storage.
Step 6
If you have a closet in a guest room or office that isn't being used much, turn it into a food pantry by adding shelves.
Step 7
Utilize all under bed space for food storage if you can. Bed skirts cover anything under the bed anyway, so no one need know

A lot going on in the News!!!! But you will never hear it.

A lot going on in the News!!!! But you will never hear it.

I watch Fox News because I get more info from them than any other news network. I saw with the Acorn scandal that very little was said on any other news network. We can all see NBC is a little bit Obama happy and will never say a word to make him look bad. ABC is just as bad and I will not even say a word about the New York Times, except “what a joke“!
I start my day off with the Alex Jones Show and then Glenn Beck. I know Glenn Beck can be a little bit overboard at times, but he has put a fire under the BS going on in Washington DC and for that I say good job. I think he is a Patriot and a good man so I watch him.
Our Government has a plan for us, and 98% of the country will follow like little sheep. The sad part is the 98% that will get on the FEMA bus going to the camp, laugh at us survivalist and think we are crazy and Right-Wing Nuts. Well when the flu shots and the new home at Camp FEMA kick in they may think a little different about us. The sad thing is it will be to late. I think it’s to late now for most of the sheep.

Preppers get ready for the worst.......

Preppers get ready for the worst…………
Movement to stockpile for emergency at all-time high

I found this Info at WND

These people are ready for anything, including "the end of the world as we know it."
Participation in National Preparedness Month is at an all-time high according to the authors of "How To Overcome The Most Frightening Issues You Will Face This Century"
Thomas Horn owns a publishing house, is married to a horse trainer and has four grandchildren and one on the way. He lives on a farm in rural Missouri.
Horn, a semi-retired minister considers himself a reasonable man with a well-balanced outlook on the future.
But since Sept. 11, 2001, Horn has been stockpiling emergency supplies and encouraging others to do the same.
"Following 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina it was abundantly clear that it is dangerous and even naive to expect government agencies to swoop in to save everybody in the event of a major emergency," Horn explained. "Now we are hearing from federal authorities that it is only a matter of time – when, not if – a catastrophic event could make 9/11 pale by comparison. Experts have placed even-odds on a terrorist attack using a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) inside the United States within the next five years."
Horn, a veteran minister of 30 years and co-host of Raiders Live! News Talk Radio is part of a growing trend in which regular people – doctors, mechanics, laborers, receptionists and others – are preparing to survive should a natural or man-made disaster strike.
(Story continues below)
Theirs is not an extremist community holed up in underground shelters teaching bizarre or cultic ideas.
These "preppers" (as they are called) are regular folks that saw what happened on 9/11, experienced their 401(k)s falling apart as the economy soured, witnessed the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and decided to take the future into their own hands.
"These are average people holding down regular jobs who understand the world is not the idealistic place they might have once thought," Horn said. "The proliferation of weapons technology in the hands of terrorists and recent unusual weather patterns have made them aware how things can suddenly go wrong. They are preparing to survive whatever may come."
Avoiding the run on supplies
Joe, 31, manages an emergency preparedness store and recalls what happened in 2001, when the nation was gripped with panic and survival merchandise suppliers were inundated and ran out of stock in one day.
"It was a nightmare getting services and products," Joe said. "The number-one supplier of emergency food was receiving 10,000 orders per day and within one week was back-ordered for over six months. At the radiological laboratory where we get Potassium Iodide Tablets (Potassium Iodide shields the thyroid from radiation damage in the case of nuclear exposure), the U.S. military flew in and purchased every tablet KI4U had in stock – millions of pills – leaving the public without a supplier for some time."
Joe explains how the lessons of 9-11 led the private investors he works for to form the wholesale emergency supplies outlet survivormall.com in order to amass in a single-source platform what the public needs to stock up on before another crises occurs.
Business has been booming for such companies lately, with long-term storage food producers and survival gear manufacturers shipping product as fast as they can make them, testament to the result of a growing body of people agreeing on the need to prepare before something happens and stores sell out again.
"Our business has doubled each year for the last three years," Joe acknowledges. "Especially our Mountain House freeze-dried foods. Next to that, commercial gas masks and hand-crank devices like NOAA radios have been flying off the shelves."
,Making plans to survive
Allie Anderson is one of 20 authors who recently contributed to the new survival book "How To Overcome The Most Frightening Issues You Will Face This Century" (Defender Publishing Group, 2009). She explains how the "prepper" movement and economic downturn led her and her husband to pack up, leave the West Coast and purchase land in the Midwest where a stream provides a natural water supply, which they can use for drinking and bathing in a crises, and to grow food for themselves and their children.
During a recent power outage that lasted three days, the Andersons practiced their off-grid plan, drawing water from the spring and boiling it over an open fire (which they were able to do as a result of having a one-year supply of firewood for just such an emergency). They carried containers of water into the house to use for baths and laundry, and ate vegetables and wild herbs they harvested from their gardens. Their son, 13, and their daughter, 8, worked right alongside them.
"We have about a one-year supply of necessities and can barter with neighbors for other items such as milk, eggs and meat if we need to," Anderson said. "We also have a large pantry with bulk flour and dry meals, at least a one-year supply at a time. I hope we never have to use them as a result of an emergency, but we are ready to do that if the day ever comes. We never want to be put in the position of having to beg for food or basics."
Church leaders advocate preparedness
Being prepared to survive under a variety of scenarios including a layoff, severe weather, global pandemic or terrorist attack is just common sense say church leaders.
David Wilkerson, a well-known pastor and author of "The Cross and the Switchblade," recently predicted, "An earth-shattering calamity is about to happen," and urged his followers to get an emergency supply of food.
Some preppers foresee a time they call TEOTWAWKI, an acronym that means "the end of the world as we know it."
"It is wise council when preachers like David Wilkerson advocate disaster readiness to their flock," said Thomas Horn. "The Book of James measures faith by personal action, and Hebrews 11:7 describes true faith this way: 'By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear and prepared an ark to the saving of his house.'
"God told Noah that He would destroy the earth by a flood. He gave Noah instructions on how to be prepared so that he and his family could survive. Noah didn't know when the flood would come, only that it was prophesied, and he prepared for it. When the flood arrived, he was ready. His faith in and obedience to God's word, his survival instincts, and ultimately his preparedness actions saved his family and preserved the human race."
Horn believes the parallel between Noah and today is worth noting. "As it was in the days of Noah," he cites Luke 17:26-27 concerning the last days. "Noah's actions should define the modern believer's responsibility, including the need for spiritual and physical preparedness."

Survival Skills # 20 How to keep a Garden Journal

Survival Skills # 20
How to keep a garden journal

Step 1
Find a notebook with plenty of blank pages that will hold together well. Stash it with your gardening supplies so it is always handy to take notes.
Step 2
Write down the year and then map out your garden plans. Even if you are not an artist, a simple sketch of your garden plot will help to visualize your plan.
Step 3
Make a list of the seeds you ordered, the brand and Latin names. Put a coinciding column where you can mark how well the seeds grew for you and whether you would order them again. Also, list which plants you bought as starts and how they did.
Step 4
Your garden journal is also a great place to right down any pest problems you had and how you dealt with them successfully. This will be informative for next year when the problems arise again.
Step 5
At the end of the growing season, take the time to right down any thoughts you have about the growing season, what you would do again and what you would do differently.
Step 6
Use this journal to save info about your garden. This will help you to have a better garden each year. And if you sale you items keep a list of how much money you make each year.

Survival Skills # 19 WEEKLY SHOPPING LIST

Survival Skills # 19
WEEKLY SHOPPING LIST

Making a shopping list for emergency preparedness and having a weekly list of “to buy items“. With a weekly list you will build up your stock and in no time be ready for most events.

1. Start a list of items you will need to have if an emergency hits.

2. Your list should have items like water, food , medical supplies and other items.

3. You need a place to store you supplies, and please don’t just stick them out in you shed or car-port you need them indoors away from heat and cold.

4. As you work on you list you will get to a point where you start to feel good about you stock of one or more items, if you get to that point then stop working on that item and pick up on another. But remember if you think you will need 20 cases of water, it is probable that you will need two times that if not three times.

5. Never stop your weekly shopping. If you have to cut back that’s ok just don’t stop. Buy something every week on your trip to the store.

6. And remember household items, like lamp oil, paper plates and many other items. I would say think as if you were going camping and had to cook all your meals outdoors, but think of it as a year or more trip.

7. Rethink your list from time to time, as your kids get older or you have new kids. You need to change the list as your life changes.

The spark that has triggered rebellion

The spark that has triggered rebellion
By Ellen Sauerbrey

http://www.americanthinker.com

'I'm as Mad as Hell, and I'm Not Gonna Take This Anymore!' This sentiment is being voiced by protesters turning out for Tea Parties and Health Care Town Hall Meetings around the country. People are angry and frightened by the prospect of government running their health care system, but their anger goes far beyond a 1000 page health bill.

Health care reform is merely the spark that has touched off a prairie fire of grassroots rebellion among a people who believe their representatives do not represent them, do not listen to them and do not care what they think. Many Americans feel that they are losing control of their financial well being, their values and their culture. Shell shock set in as they tried to absorb the rapidity of drastic change.

The first stirring of protest came with the Tea Parties in the spring. These gatherings were completely misread by a media that ignored them and dismissed the attendees as right wing kooks. The Tea Parties were about taxes, yes. But far more they were about the rapid intrusion of the federal government into private affairs, about deficit spending, and a growing understanding that America was heading down a very dangerous road.

People see a government in Washington that is in the process of destroying the constitutional principles of limited government and maximum personal freedom that made America the freest and most prosperous country the world has ever known.

James Madison, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson must be turning over in their graves at what is being done to the Republic they founded. At the close of Constitutional Convention in 1787, Benjamin Franklin said we gave you "a republic if you can keep it." At the moment, keeping it does not look promising.

Our founding fathers had an incredible understanding of human nature, and of the natural tendency of governments to become oppressive. They gave us a unique Constitution that attempted to limit the power of government and ensure the rights of individuals. In 1798 Thomas Jefferson wrote, "In questions of power, then let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution."

Yet today one must ask "where does the Constitution give President Obama the right to fire the CEOs of General Motors or to force the Chrysler Corporation to merge with Fiat, a foreign Corporation?" Where is it written in the Constitution that the government has the right to use my tax dollars and yours to prop up businesses that should either declare bankruptcy or simply dissolve and close their doors?

Tragically, our schools no longer teach our children why America is the freest most prosperous country in history. If the uniqueness of the United States Constitution is no longer celebrated how can we expect the next generation to understand the need to protect and defend it?

For 60 known centuries, people on this earth toiled from dawn to dusk, barely able to feed themselves. Famine was the rule, not the exception. Then suddenly here in America, the course of history reversed and food became so abundant that much is wasted. Our country, unlike much of the world even today, has never experienced famine. Is this just some kind of fluke?

In one century, an economic miracle occurred that provided Americans more wealth, more comfort and leisure than had ever been dreamed of. America rose from a wilderness to become a leading world power. How did that happen?

The answer was the unique guarantee of individual freedom and the absence of government meddling and control. Americans were free to save and invest, to go into business, free to own property, free to compete, to work, to prosper... and free to fail and try again. Every ounce of freedom produced a pound of progress. This great experiment called America proved that freedom and initiative work.

But today, freedom and initiative are being replaced by ever higher taxation, regulation and centralization of power in Washington. Our economy is now stagnant and our standard of living is declining. Each year government takes a bigger share of our earnings, employs more and more of our people, enacts more rules that strangle our economy and controls more and more of our lives.

In the enjoyment of plenty have Americans lost the memory of freedom? When citizens are willing to sacrifice their liberty for security they will have neither liberty nor security and will soon find themselves living under tyranny. But sleeping giant of everyday America is stirring.

The September 12th National Tea Party will bring hundreds of thousands of people to Washington. They are coming by the busload and they are coming because they fear the avalanche of policies coming out of Washington DC that are destroying the foundations of our free society.

They are coming to protest the most fiscally reckless and irresponsible White House and Congress in our history. They understand that the U.S. is on the road to fiscal ruin with massive spending - soaring deficits and mountains of debt that can never be paid off except by running the printing press, generating phony money, creating inflation that ruins lives, and allowing government bills to be paid with worthless dollars.

They are protesting Congress and the White House crafting new ways to bankrupt America -- through cap and trade, nationalized health insurance, pork barrel earmarks, and new across-the-board regulations on the financial industry.

They are protesting that people, who have never even run a candy store, are taking over the running of our auto industry, our banks, and other financial institutions. And they are protesting the massive shadow government of unaccountable czars layered on top of the existing government bureaucracy.

Most of all, they are protesting because they see the capitalist system being dismantled day by day and the nation heading pell-mell down the road to socialism

Thomas Jefferson in his First Inaugural address in1801 described what he called the sum of good government as, "a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned." But Jefferson also warned, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground."

Generations of Americans worked to build, fought to protect and died to preserve the liberty the Founders gave us. Despite their sacrifice, freedom is under assault today, as never before in America. But there is increasing reason to believe that a growing army of patriots will refuse to stand by and allow this great country to be destroyed.

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned -- this is the sum of good government."

Eight years later and still many questions. God Bless This Country, and please pray for this country.

Swine Flu: Path to Martial Law?

Swine Flu: Path to Martial Law?

John Griffing
Global Research
September 9, 2009

Could a form of martial law be imminent? Obama appears ready to cross the Rubicon, and all he needs is a killer virus.
Let’s connect some dots.
Remember President Obama’s Executive Order basing 80,000 active troops at home for the first time in the history of the peacetime military establishment to “help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack….”
Now connect that information to the recent announcement that the military has established regional deployment locations all across the United States to “assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials.”
Civil unrest and crowd control? Significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall? What do they know that we don’t?
Swine flu has been made into a crisis in the minds of the public, even though swine flu, or H1N1, is the most non-lethal “killer” virus ever uncovered. As a cataclysmic event demanding military assistance, it ranks near zero. It is doubtful whether swine flu could even be classified as an “epidemic,” much less a “pandemic.”
Regular influenza, the common flu, kills 36,000 people every year. The 1918 flu pandemic killed an estimated 50-100 million people worldwide over a period of two years, approximately one-third the population of Europe at that time. Global swine flu deaths topped just 1,000 this year.
But President Obama is predicting death tolls of 90,000 and possible infection of up to half the US population.
While every life matters, in statistical terms swine flu is a comparatively minor problem, which makes the hype by those in government and the military all the more suspicious.
The National Guard is even practicing mock takeovers of public schools in the event of an “H1N1 riot,” a description that elicits mixed responses. What kind of riot could arise out of a flu that has only killed 1,000 worldwide? Washington certainly seems to be looking for some rationale for enhanced domestic military involvement, whether credible or not.
Martial law has essentially been on the table since President Obama took office, thanks to the Bush Administration’s dramatic revisions of the Posse Comitatus Act —which limited deployment of the US military at home—in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. With impeccable timing, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has gone before Congress asking for the unprecedented authority to base 400,000 soldiers in communities all across the United States.
A recent US Army War College Report even outlined the conditions under which martial law could be introduced, listing:
…unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters are all paths to disruptive domestic shock. [Emphasis added.]

The CDC is finalizing quarantine regulations formulated during the Bush years that provide for quarantining “a large group of persons” suspected of having swine flu or other illnesses listed in an executive order. This means that President Obama can quarantine anyone as long as they have an illness he determines to be dangerous. These new regulations even permit “provisional” quarantine of persons not actually carrying any virus. In one section, the regulations empower the president to quarantine anyone that does not agree to be vaccinated, an ominous condition since recent investigations have revealed that swine flu vaccines can cause serious medical complications. Thousands of doctors have voiced strong opposition to the proposed swine flu vaccine, due to its association with neurological disorders. No matter, a bill before the Massachusetts State Senate would permit authorities to enter homes and detain without warrant citizens who do not agree to be forcibly vaccinated. Iowa just released a new Orwellian quarantine "http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=108548"policy directive that states in the event of a swine flu outbreak, “your home and other less restrictive alternatives are not acceptable.” These moves appear to be the result of federal incentives advancing mandatory vaccination.
The Army hasn’t missed a step, putting out ads for “Internment/Resettlement Specialists.” And, though most of the wild claims about “FEMA camps” have been appropriately and properly discredited, the fact remains that the Homeland Security Department has signed a $385 million contract with Halliburton subsidiary KBR Construction to build such facilities on an “as-needed” "http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=41829"basis.
If you’re not already feeling nervous, revisit President Obama’s spine-chilling campaign pledge:
We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.
With the Serve America Act, this alarming proposition has become reality. The broad authority given to this force is staggering. Section 1505 gives the newly created National Civilian Community Corps the power to address national “needs” related to “natural and other disasters,” “infrastructure improvement,” “environmental stewardship and conservation,” “energy conservation,” and “urban and rural development.” The legislation reiterates that the corps will “combine the best practices of civilian service with the best aspects of military service.”
Nowhere have these two spheres ever been combined that tyranny has not resulted.
If these recent events were mere coincidence, Americans could peacefully go about their business. But Obama is no ordinary President. This is the man who began his political career in the home of terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, former members of the notorious Weather Underground that "http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=78929"plotted the deaths of 25 million Americans in “re-education camps.”
Even so, it sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Mass internment and quarantine of Americans? Martial law used illegally to quell opposition to government policies? After all, this is America, not some banana republic.
But this is not the America of even 10 years ago. This is President Obama’s brave new America. Differences of opinion are criminalized, violating freedom of conscience in the deepest sense. Freedom of the press is assaulted with newspaper “bailouts” and diversity requirements imposed on local radio stations. Children face the possibility of weeklong, year-round education, effectively circumventing parents and making children wards of the state. Czars govern in the place of elected officials. Key private sector companies are now under the direct control of the President.
The President has even proven willing to use healthcare reform to target the elderly, recasting human life in terms of the collective good. The White House has even urged fellow citizens to inform on opponents of Obama’s healthcare bill. In this environment, the prospect of martial law doesn’t sound that far-fetched.
But isn’t this unconstitutional? No matter. The Constitution means nothing to President Obama, who has repeatedly implied "http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=79225"the need to, “break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution….”
Thomas Jefferson had a different view:
Confidence is everywhere the parent of despotism…In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.
But when the President considers the Constitution to be nothing more than an archaic suggestion, no travesty is unthinkable. And the unthinkable is only a manufactured flu pandemic away. I desperately hope I am wrong in connecting these dots, but in light of the President’s stated agenda, and his known track record on ethical issues, the possibility of abuses must be considered. After all, stranger things have happened.

Same Junk With The Same Name....It's all Shit.....

Mr. Obama made his Health Care speech last night, and it was full of the same junk and he didn't even give it a new name or jazz it up a little. It's the same tired old dog he has been beating for months. It's only big thing he said was if you miss quote the bill or miss state anything about the bill he and the left will call you out. Alright please tell me if I'm wrong, but if I state a lie or miss truth about anything would a good person call me on it. I am sorry but the left and the man named Mr. Obama couldn't make a good call on the best of days for them. From the day Mr. Obama took office please tell me one thing he has done that is a good thing. Just one thing...... I will be waiting a long time for an answer to that. Rep. Congressman Joe Wilson is a true Patriot for his out-burst that "You Lie", and I praise him for the fact he was the only one who had the guts in that whole place. Every person in this country should e-mail Congressman Joe Wilson and thank him for a job well done. Look him up and Thank Him....

Survival Skills #18 How to Master Urban Survival

Survival Skills # 18
How to Master Urban Survival

By Writer Gig

Not unlike surviving in the wilderness, urban survival depends more on your skills and knowledge than on the equipment and fancy tools you acquire -- although survival equipment and food are certainly important in their own right.

In addition to books, e-guides and online resources on a myriad of urban survival skills, strategies and plans, you can even attend courses designed to help you improve your skills in a variety of specific areas.

Here's how to learn the essentials of urban survival.

Step 1
Build your basic survival skills, one by one. Start with the will to survive. Ironically, the likelihood of your survival during a catastrophe or emergency depends in large part on your desire and intent to survive whatever befalls you.

*Basic survival skills: The Will to Survive, Getting Water, Starting a Fire, Finding Shelter, Getting Food, First Aid, Getting Rescued.
Step 2
Master urban survival street skills, including self-defense with or without weapons, basic first aid, and how to apply survival skills such as the ability to find shelter, food and water in an urban environment. Learn to be constantly aware of your surroundings and the people and objects within your immediate vicinity.
Step 3
Learn urban survival home preparedness essentials. Consider the implications of nuclear fallout, mass civil unrest, and other low-probability, high-impact scenarios.

Obtain and store coverings for windows and doors and vents: thick plastic sheeting and duct tape for nuclear and chemical attacks; plywood, sheet metal and nails/ fasteners for keeping out home invaders and looters.

Store non-perishable foods and water for your family. A month's supply is a very good start.
Step 4
Test everything -- your knowledge, skills, home safety equipment, and various contingency plans for different scenarios. Have regular discussions with your household members in regards emergency preparations and what will be expected from everyone should the worst happen.

How to Grow a Depression Garden

Member By Writer Gig

Depression Garden
During the Great Depression, many grew food for their families, even in small suburban lots. These vegetable-producing patches were dubbed depression gardens by some, and the name stuck. Now that a recession is underway, some are predicting America's 2nd Great Depression. As food and fuel prices rise and jobs are lost, some fear these predictions could become a reality. Like the Victory Garden movement during World War II, families are embracing backyard gardening as a way to improve their personal economic stability and that of the nation. Get ahead of the game by starting your own depression garden now. At the very least, you'll have some delicious home grown produce. And if things get bad, your depression garden might save your grocery bill and feed your family. Here's how to grow a Depression Garden.

Step 1
Make a list of vegetables, fruits and root vegetables to include in your depression garden. Choose vegetables that provide a good amount of nutrition and bulk. I recommend potatoes, onions, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, lettuce and turnips for starters. Strawberries, peppers, watermelons and lettuce are great choices as well.
Step 2
Purchase seeds, seed potatoes and seed onions, as well as fruit tree stock and strawberry plants. For variety, look into heirloom breeds. Heirloom tomatoes and potatoes are worth splurging for; save the seeds each year for the most frugal gardening.
Step 3
Plant seeds in flats indoors to get a jump start on the growing season. This especially applies to tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and herbs, which can be seeded in late winter. A few weeks later, begin to seed broccoli, cantaloupe, spinach and lettuce. Peas, corn and potatoes will do best planted directly in the ground outdoors after the last frost.
Step 4
Prepare the soil in your garden. Turn over the soil, adding compost and well-composted manure in small quantities. Improve the soil with minerals or organic fertilizer. Remove rocks, debris and refuse from the garden.
Step 5
Plant some of your garden in pots or raised beds if you have poor soil conditions or not enough tillable land to fit everything. An herb container garden in pots by the kitchen door is convenient, and tomatoes grow well in large pots with plenty of sun.
Step 6
Enlist the whole family to maximize your garden efforts. Even children can help plant seedlings, and you'll find the quality time together has its own benefits.
Step 7
Eat and preserve your harvest throughout the summer and early fall. Make sure nothing is wasted. Can extra tomatoes, make strawberry jelly, and store potatoes in a cool, dry dark place. Onions likewise can be stored for use throughout the winter.

Survival Skills #16 How to Survive Total Economic Collapse

How to Survive Total Economic Collapse
Member By WriterGig

Gold
Is total economic collapse just around the corner? As the U.S. dollar weakens and the price of goods such as oil, grain and gold rise, many fear for the economic stability of the country. So how does one survive total economic collapse? The U.S. dollar is weak and it may be too late to save the finances of this debt-driven economy. However, it's not too late to learn some basic survivalist skills. Following are some tips and resources. Here's how to survive a total economic collapse.

Surviving Economic Collapse
Step 1

Read
Educate yourself before hand if possible. Read everything you can on how to survive a total economic collapse. Start with "Financial Reckoning Day: Surviving the Soft Depression of the 21st Century" and "Empire of Debt: The Rise of an Epic Financial Crisis", both by William Bonner, for a historical perspective and very well-written analysis of the current situation. Also read "The Great Bust Ahead: The Greatest Depression in American History" by Daniel A. Arnold. (See the Resources section, below.)
Step 2
Plan.

Make a plan for how to survive a total economic collapse. List your debts and assets. How quickly can you pay down your debt, while still purchasing necessary supplies? Your goals should include no debt and the procurement and storage of valuable assets. Your preparation timetable should be as short as possible.
Step 3
Nix debt.

Pay off debt and avoid new debt by paying with cash instead of credit cards. Concentrate on paying off high-interest debt, loans with adjustable rates and unsecured debts first. Sell expensive vehicles that have loans to pay off what you owe, and buy cheaper replacements using cash. In order to survive a total economic collapse, you need to have assets, not liabilities. (Note: storing food and resources are higher priority than paying down debt for families of modest means.)
Step 4
Buy Silver.

Change liquid savings into silver and gold. If the dollar collapses, having precious metals will preserve your money and it can be used as currency or exchanged for a currency with value, such as Swiss francs. As the dollar continues to lose value, silver dollars preserve their value or go up in value, thus protecting your assets in the event of a economic recession, allowing you to financially survive a recession or depression.
Step 5
Invest wisely.

Re-evaluate your stocks and mutual funds. In order to financially survive a total economic collapse, your investments must be secure. Consider putting some of your stocks into gold (GLD) or opening a precious metals IRA. Research stocks that will survive a total economic collapse through sites like Daily Reckoning Day.
Step 6
Store grain.

Purchase goods and valuables such as guns for hunting and personal protection, and basic food supplies such as whole grains and legumes, which are easy to store. Invest in water purification bottles and tablets, and keep some bottled water on hand to meet immediate needs in the event of a shortage. All of these will make it more possible to survive a total economic collapse.
Step 7
First aid.

Prepare a First Aid Kit, sewing kit and other practical necessities of daily life to aid in survival of a total economic collapse. These are good things to have on hand anyway, for regular daily life as well as unforeseen emergencies.
Step 8
Build community.

Get to know your neighbors and build a community wherever you are. In the event of total economic collapse, life will become very local and survival will depend on working together with others, beginning with families.
Step 9
Grow food.

Grow some of your own food and raise animals for meat. Chickens and rabbits are small and easy to tend. Chickens provide eggs as well as meat and are excellent sources of protein and fat, both critical for survival. In economic downturns such as a recession or depression, being able to produce food is a important skill to have.
Step 10
Barter.

Learn how to barter, and stock items to trade. Think about necessities (wool blankets, soap, boots, duct tape, ammunition) as well as luxuries (chocolate, tobacco, alcohol). Useful tools will be more valuable than money if there is a currency collapse. Useful barter items will be helpful to have on hand as you prepare to survive an economic collapse.

Have a Great Labor Day

The History of Labor Day
Info from: http://www.dol.gov/opa/aboutdol/laborday.htm

Labor Day: How it Came About; What it Means

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

Founder of Labor Day

More than 100 years after the first Labor Day observance, there is still some doubt as to who first proposed the holiday for workers.

Some records show that Peter J. McGuire, general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a cofounder of the American Federation of Labor, was first in suggesting a day to honor those "who from rude nature have delved and carved all the grandeur we behold."

But Peter McGuire's place in Labor Day history has not gone unchallenged. Many believe that Matthew Maguire, a machinist, not Peter McGuire, founded the holiday. Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire, later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson, N.J., proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic.

The First Labor Day

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.

In 1884 the first Monday in September was selected as the holiday, as originally proposed, and the Central Labor Union urged similar organizations in other cities to follow the example of New York and celebrate a "workingmen's holiday" on that date. The idea spread with the growth of labor organizations, and in 1885 Labor Day was celebrated in many industrial centers of the country.
