My First Poll

So far in my first poll 5 out of 71(or 7%) voted that there will be no collapse. So my question to everyone is why do some people think everything will be OK? And are the few that see a collapse coming wrong? Or are the people that think the great leaders of this country will fix everything just way off in there thinking. I know how I feel and that is that there is a very large collapse coming and when it hits it will hit like a ton of bricks, and most of the people will not be ready for it. Most people will get caught with less than two days of food on hand and little or no water. Most people don't even know where to find there flashlight if the power goes out, and if the power goes out and they do find the flashlight I bet the batteries are dead and I'm sure most will not have back up batteries or a way to recharge them. If you are one or know one of the people who don't have it together, then please get yourself ready and help your friends and neighbors to get ready. Start a family plan to include the people of your family like your sister, brother, mother, father and in-laws. If you all prep as one and do bulk shopping it will cost less and help to get everyone in your family ready. I go to Sam's to buy a lot of my bulk and split the cost with one or two friends that prep and it helps with the cost. And sometimes I just go alone and use all the bulk items for myself. Use your head and get to work on your preps. And remember that we have very little time left. PREP, PREP, PREP!!!!

  1. It blows my mind that some people are oblivious that the collapse is coming. What are they thinking?

  2. I was at my mom's house a few days ago and noticed that she had 2 or 3 antique oil lamps sitting around. Empty. Beautiful lamps that won't serve a purpose because she didn't fill them up. For Mother's Day, she's getting a big bottle of lamp oil and a wind-proof lighter. How's that for helping folks prep?

  3. I am not surprised at the number in fact if you weren't a prepper mentality blog, I believe the number would be much higher.

I write for the NM preppers blog and have of late been pressed to make sure we have skills and knowledge as much as items(or storage)...as skills will help one last longer than a season.

    Great survey and great blog!
