Fed up with waiting, President Barack Obama announced Saturday he would bypass a vacationing Senate and name 15 people to key administration jobs, wielding for the first time the blunt political tool known as the recess appointment.
The move immediately deepened the divide between the Democratic president and Republicans in the Senate following a long, bruising fight over health care. Obama revealed his decision by blistering Republicans, accusing them of holding up nominees for months solely to try to score a political advantage on him.
"I simply cannot allow partisan politics to stand in the way of the basic functioning of government," Obama said in a statement.
This is the great leader of this country he makes moves under the cover of darkness and doesn't care what people think. There was a time in the country when the leaders would go out of their way to be seen doing something like this, but not now because it's near the end. They know the great freedom grab is going on and will be in full swing soon. So they don't care anymore about what they do; it's not like they cared before they just didn't want to get caught doing something. It's very clear to me that this country is run by fools and idiots that think the people of this country will sit back and eat every bite of shit they spoon feed to us, and the sad thing is most will do just that. But there are a few patriots that will make a stand and defend freedom and the true way of American life and not this fake life that the fake leaders have spoon feed us for many years. It's just since they have been able to install this communistic pretender, Barry Sotero, aka Barak Obama, into the office of Prez, The deception has come to a screeching halt. No longer do they hide behind the false curtain of "terrorism", or for the good of the country. They are on the fast track to bring our country down,and merge us into the new world order.
