Tell one of the walking dead that the collapse is coming and you get that "LOOK" you know the look the one that says your a nut case! I talk about the coming collapse with friends and co-workers but I don't think I will do so anymore. My reason is that with as messed up as the world is getting and as messed up as this country is getting and the walking dead still can't see the writing on the wall, then to hell with them. I'm sorry but I have had it with the fools who think planning that summer trip or that Christmas get away for the family is so important but to stop and think about stocking away food for a month and water for a month just cost to much money or to much time. I say then they will get what's coming to them and as my Grandmother would say, "you reap what you sow" and if all you sow is vacations and day trips to the lake or trips to the ball park to watch your team. Then I hope when the collapse hits the skills you have picked up at the ball park or Disneyland helps you to feed yourself and your family and to provide safety for you all. But look at it like this you had some fun and that's all the counts in life. When the hordes of walking dead show up to kill you and your family just remember your skills that Mickey Mouse showed you in the Happiest Place On Earth.
Don't get me wrong I like Disney and have been a few times but I also have food, water and other supplies to last me for more than a year. And I don't go every year the last time I went was in 2009 and it was a family trip. I'm not knocking vacations or family trips but don't look at me and tell me that stocking a months of food and water is to much of a chore and then in the next breath tell me how much time and money your family trip to the coast is going to cost. Everyone needs time off and down time I take time off all the time but me and the wife do small day trips within 25, 50 or 100 miles of our home and when we are out and about we are always looking for need areas like land, stores with good stuff and anything of use in a post collapse event. And as always we are looking at good bug-out areas. I myself do not plan to bug-out but as a good survivalist I have plans to do so and I am always updating that plan.
So I will just stay crazy and keep it to myself and sit back and wait for the collapse to hit, I wonder if after the collapse hits will I still be seen as a crazy fool?
Well to the rest of you crazy fools I think I'm in good company with my survivalist blog friends!!
