There were no immediate reports of major damage or injuries from the quake, which the U.S. Geological Survey said was centered in Mineral, Virginia, between Charlottesville and Richmond.
I have family that live in Charlotte, NC and they said they could feel it. It's funny when I moved out here to the land of crap (California) all my friends said you are going to feel the earthquakes out there and it's been ten years and I still have never felt a quake but the people back home have. So far on the news it looks like it was not to bad, but was that it and will there be any larger ones? If anyone that reads this blog is near the quake please post a comment and let us now how you are and what it was like and tell us just how far away you are from the center of the quake. This should show some of the walking dead that they need to be ready for any event of doom because at anytime we can be standing in the center of a disaster with no way to shop for food, water or other needed items. What to take from a disaster of event of doom? Get prepared for the worse and have needed supplies to ride out anything that comes your way.
I live in Lynchburg, VA and we had to evacuate the building we were in. Best way to explain how it felt is "It was like being in NYC Subway...everything shook"...that's how I can explain it best. We are okay!
