What's on your list this weekend?
What projects do you have to do?
For me this is my work weekend so I will be at work but still have a few things to do. I worked with the food saver a little today and bagged up some first aid items and bagged up some of the dry goods I had left over from the last bucket making day. I did a little work around the house today and some cleaning. If all goes right I will get some more stuff done tomorrow. I know a lot of you get most of your prepping done on the weekend as do I, but I work in health care and have days off in the week and the weekend so I prep both times. With the way things are looking we need to use everyday we have to prep and prep as much as we can to get ready to survive the coming collapse. So get out this weekend and do some prepping!
This weekend is all about homemade/homegrown prepping. I have shelled beans in the dehydrator, salsa on the stove top, jalapenos to make jelly and a half-bushel of apples that need sauced. Plus we ordered camping gear this morning so hopefully we can practice roughing it in the next couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteI had to have a Father / Daughter fishing trip out in the boat this morning. My oldest girl is going to college this week and asked to go fishing with me one more time before she left. It has been over 100 degrees and has not rained in over two months here so I was not looking forward in being out on the water. This morning we sat out on the water with a nice North cool breeze and fished in the rain. It was one for the memory books.
ReplyDeleteLast weekend we planted some of the fall gardens and this weekend we will be planting more. Texas gardening is a little different than gardening anywhere else and on my blog I gave a few tips on how to do it and what all I planted.
Finally with the break in the weather, I can now get out and do some much needed barn cleaning.
So I guess I did and will do some prepping this weekend.
