A Day At The Range......

Here are a few photos of last Tuesday, me and the new son-in-law went to the range just four days after he and my daughter got married. They go on there honeymoon starting this weekend so don't think I cut into their time together. When we first got to the range site my son-in-law ran into a friend that could not get over the fact that his new wife let him go shoot just four days after the wedding. And all he said was' "Pete asked me to go and did it in front of her and she said yes without any problem." I raised my girls around shooting and being prepared, and she knows I would not pull him away for very long and she knows the skills of shooting are going to be needed very soon. We went out to the range and had a good day, we were there for about 2 1/2 hours and a lot of fun. I ask you guys to keep up your prepping and to stock up on food, water and other needed supplies, but I now ask you to get out and use your skills of survival, like shooting, making fire, finding water, hunting and fishing. These skills of life are going to be needed and very few get out and use them enough to be very good at them. I know some of you guys have been hunting and fishing all your lives and this doesn't pertain to you the true outdoors man. But for the few who don't do any of the fore mentioned skills very often I ask you to get out and work on your skill building and try and learn new skills. I'm far from the all knowing survival master so I go out every weekend I can to try out new things and work on other skills I want to get better at. All I'm asking is set aside a little time to work on skill building.

And as always keep your eye's open and your ear to the ground, because we all know evil is on it's way.

  1. As always, you are dead on. We as a family are doing what we can and when we can to sharpen our survival skills. Keep up the great posts!
