I had a gift card from a sporting goods store from Christmas of last year, I wanted to use it before it was not any good. So I went a did some shopping yesterday. I had $100.00 and my wife had her book so I could take my time a look around. I knew I needed some Gold Dot 125gr 38 spl. rounds to add to my stock so I got a box of them and a speed loader for the 38 spl. I have, so now I have five speed loaders for that gun. Then I walked by the binoculars and saw that they had a stack of items on clearance so I stopped and looked and they had one pair of Simmons FireView 7X35 Binoculars. This was the last pair and marked down to sale so I got them. At this point I was ready to just use the rest of the card to get ammo, but then I saw this Ruko fixed blade knife and had to have it. Then I saw a Browning cap light with an LED light so I had to get it too. So all in all I spent $98.00 and got some very nice gear and didn't have to spend a dime of my own money.
To add to this post I have used the binoculars and they work great, even for a $16.95 pair. And the cap light is very nice I used it to take out the trash last night. I love new gear and any time I can add to my preps is a good day.
Stay alert and keep your eye's open and your ear to the ground because the evil that runs this country approaches and night is near. Keep prepping and survive!
Man I love those cap lights!
ReplyDeleteIn the winter months I use one every night to go out and feed our critters.
I've got at least 5 of em stored in our preps both headband and cap bill mounted.
They are a "must" for the prep stockpile!
Another successful Pete Smith shopping trip. Well done sir.
