Tax Day

Every year the great Government steals the hard earned money from the people of this country. And then spends it on junk we don't want or need. Just look at health care over 76% of the people of this country didn't want the health care bill, but they gave it to us even after all the calls, e-mails and right out talk at the town hall meetings. They just don't get it and never will as far as I see it. This year I didn't owe on my taxes and still don't feel good about it because I'm still feeding the beast. I hate to think about any of my money going to this government period. I'm not sure if the Tea Party Groups will do any good, but I do know that doing nothing is what they want us to do and I will have no part of that. I plan to stand on my soap box and preach till the day the good Lord takes me home. I will not just sit by and say or do nothing anymore. I blog and a talk to everyone that will lend a ear. I think we all need to make a stand and fight for our freedoms. Don't Tread On Me

  1. I have been to 4 Tea Parties so far. As of last night we are starting to organize to do just you mentioned. Get the word/truth out. The goal is for everyone to talk to everyone they know, one person at a time. Not to support any particular party but to DO something other than just complain. Personally think it is too late but I am going to give 100%- least I can tell the grand kids I tried. November will be very telling as to both the Tea Party effects and how honest computer voting is.

  2. You didn't pay any taxes, OR you didn't have to pay MORE than they took out of your paychecks?

They took over 33% of our income through federal and state income tax, and county property tax. They then clipped me for another 8% or so for SSI, Medicare and all of the other state and federal entitlement taxes we're soaked with.

The bit that they left me was then taxed with every gallon of gas I pumped, every phone call I made, every BTU I burned, every cocktail I poured, every cigarette I smoked, and every cable TV show I watched.

I paid registrations for the privilege to possess my cars, paid tolls to cross bridges that I already paid for with my tax dollars, and paid entrance fees to state and national parks, which are supposedly paid for with those tax dollars they already took.

And they want to now saddle us with a VAT, cap-and-trade and any other fee or tax they can pull out of their dirty bungs?

    THAT'S why we're angry, Clinton/Bush/Obama.
