Things We Must Do In The Last Days We Have Left.

#1) Buy as much food as you can. Caned food, dry food and things like salt, sugar, flour, oats and any other food needs that you can store.
#2) Buy as much water or store as much as you can. And remember that bleach will not work to store water, you must use Stabilized Oxygen like OxyDrops.
#3) Get you guns ready to use, that means clean, oil and have them ready to pick up and use. But please use you brain on this don't leave you guns out for young kids to get to.
#4) Buy as much ammo as you can find. You can even buy ammo you don't use and use it for trade.
#5) Buy back up items for you car or truck, like oil, wiper blades, parts that you know you will need. There will be a time when you will not be able to find this stuff.
#6) Buy medical supplies, all you can get.
#7) Get barter items, things that you know you can trade with like coffee, alcohol, beer(for the short run) and many other items. People will need there vices.
#8) Stand ready and look for the trigger that will start the end.

  1. Damn fine post. Very necessary and very much to the point. Thank you.

  2. Would it be childish to add "Enjoy yourself"? There's so much bad going on, sometimes we forget to appreciate the day we DO have. I think about that everytime I look at my son, and it seems like we brought him home from the hospital yesterday, not 5 years ago. So many days have passed and there's no promise of tomorrow.

So enjoy your day! Shell your beans around a fire with your children! Sip some hot apple cider whilst putting together your bug-out bag. Try to have a good 'today' while you prepare for tomorrow.

  3. Andrea you are so right, I do take time out of every week and do something fun with my wife and dog. But I do have to say with time so short I feel as if I have no time to waste.

  4. We're probably not as prepared as we should can only do so much, right? I thought my pandemic closet was pretty well stocked until my darling daughter developed hives last allergic response to the flu virus. Sigh. "That which does not kill me" blah blah blah :)
