When we look around all you can see is the drop in every ones sales. Here in California near me we have had about 12 stores close. And the other day our kids took me and my wife to lunch at about noon and the place we went to was a ghost-town, so I asked the server about how the restaurant was doing and she told me sales were down 50-60%. Now I see that Wal-Mart is doing bad, here is part of a story about it: From MSMBC
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35046668/ns/business-retail/
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will cut about 11,200 jobs at Sam's Club warehouses as it turns over the task of in-store product demonstrations to an outside marketing company.
The move is an effort to improve sales at Sam's Club, which has underperformed the company's namesake stores in the U.S. and abroad.
The cuts represent about 10 percent of the warehouse club operator's 110,000 staffers across its 600 stores. That includes 10,000 workers, mostly part-timers, who offer food samples and showcase products to customers. The company also eliminated 1,200 workers who recruit new members.
I'm sorry but if the biggest Retail store in this country is having trouble then I think we all may be in a little trouble. I know a lot of you hate Wal-Mart and will not shop there. I do shop there and I save over 12-18% a year off my food bill. I think the BS the leaders of this country is pulling over the people is getting a little thin and a lot of the walking dead may start to see the BS for themselves.
We are about to see the biggest collapse in the history of the world and 98% of the people are not even aware of the trouble coming this way.
Now is the time to prep, if for some reason you are not storing food, water and other needed supplies you need to do so NOW!!! Get off your butt's and get to work, storing food will save your life.
Stand ready and be strong, because evil is just over the hill and night is coming.
Until actual, real jobs start coming back, we cannot get out of this mess. The Admin can stimulate this, and bailout that, but they are all temporary in nature.
ReplyDeleteI have come to believe that food is the key component to this whole government charade. They can tweak unemployment, sales, CPI and growth "reports" to keep the majority of people snowed under. They can extend unemployment payments, liberalize welfare payments, and increase housing allowances. But if food stops becoming readily available, well, you can't BS an empty stomach.
If we have widespread crop failures, the jig is up. The House of Cards will tumble.
