So Where Do We Stand As A Country?

The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits rose to the highest level since January last week, casting doubt over the strength of the recovery in the jobs market. Initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 13,000 to a seasonally adjusted 380,000 people, the Labour Department said, defying economists’ expectations for a drop to 355,000. The four-week moving average for new claims, considered a better measure of labor market trends, also rose, climbing 4,250 to 368,500. The job market is getting worse, the cost of everything is going up and the outlook for better times is not good. To tell the truth the outlook is right down sad. The dollar is all but dead and this country is damn near dead as well, so what is the over all outlook for the coming days ahead? I see collapse of the dollar and collapse of this country and a full all out fight for survival. Hell everyday we see that people are pushed to the edge of the cliff and most suck it up and move on and try to do something to start again, and then there are the few that have had it and say to hell with it. Today in Modesto CA, a Deputy Sheriff and one other person was killed while serving eviction papers, God Bless the families of the fallen. I see the stories of people being pushed to the edge and snapping and in no way to I think that the killing of a police officer or anyone is the right thing to do. The point I am making is that so many people are being put into situations where they can and will lose everything and a few are going crazy. I'm sure we will see more of this in the weeks, months and even years to come, with people snapping and going crazy. I work at the hospital and take care of many people every week and I see so many people who have lost everything and have no hope, but still will hold there heads up and fight to go forth in life. My fear is as the country goes down the drain and more and more people are getting hit with life changing events that more will give up on hope. Hope is a powerful thing to have and with it you feel like you can move a mountain, but once you have lost your hope you feel like a mountain has been dropped on you. My fear is as the dollar dies and the country dies we will see more and more acts of doom and events of death. Pray for this country and pray for the days ahead and the road we all have to walk.
