OK, you now have the inside info on the collapse. You now know that it is going to happen in 24 hours and you have got this news for a good friend that works inside the Government and has given you very good info before so you trust him and the info. The collapse is going to be the dollar and stock market and it's going to hit hard at this same time tomorrow. What do you do first? What is your first steps to get ready to survive the doom that is about to raise it's crazy head. Who would you call and who would you tell and what would be your plan of action? The count down has started you now have T-Minus 23:59:59 till doom hits!
If I was the only one to know this I would: Well, if I wasnt home, I would get home. I would make sure my kids and my husband got home too. I would call my parents and tell them that this is IT and to hunker down and that I love them and plug the rotary phone in the wall. I would go to the bank and withdraw all my money. I would CALMLY head to the store to get extra animal grade antibiotics and medical supplies, pool shock and anything else I could.
ReplyDeleteAfter thinking about this, I suppose it would be a good idea to have a list of things to do...just in case we are blessed with a 24 hour notice.
24 hours until TSHTF... what do I do first...
ReplyDeletewellllll, considering everyone I can think of warning has already been warned and done nothing for themselves to prepare, I'm going to open a bottle of Jim Beam, pour half a cup into my mug, cover the top half with coffee, sit back and consider what it is 'they' may do first since 'they' aren't ready.
As for myself, if my preps aren't sufficient by now, there's nothing I can do in 24 hours to improve that- other than maybe buy another case of ammo.
That's the nice thing about prepping: you have no need to panic.
Oh, I would probably load a few more weapons and stash them around the house, ready for use.
Then I'd sit back and smile a knowing smile and just be patient. ;)
call the family, as if they would listen. Withdraw all funds. as we're deep in food and ammo, I'd pick up sevderal thousand sandbags. Have a few tons of dirt delivered. Barricade the house. Pick up last minute items as more batteries and such. Fill the gas and kerosene cans. Hunker down and wait.
ReplyDeleteGeez, this is a good question. I would say that I would be taking my credit cards out of the iceblock that they are in, thawing them out, and them stopping my a few ammo stores and food storage places and maxing them out.
ReplyDeleteI have what I believe is a good supply, but no reason not to have a nice padding. Just like the old adage, "plan for a project, then double the time, double the cost, and double the resources needed."
