Gold And Silver Up The Dollar Is Down......Next Is The Collapse

Well I woke up today to the dollar going down and gold and silver going up. I see the collapse coming soon, and when it hits it will hit with a vengeance. For to long people have hot paid any attention to the writing on the wall. And now the same people are going to get a wake up call they will never forget. I plan for the collapse and stock up on food, water, and medical supplies, but many don't and don't want to hear about it. So I stopped talking to them about the collapse. I do still talk about it a little at work but not as as much as before. I now wait till someone brings it up first. And then I will talk about how I feel and say what needs to be said. I feel that the collapse is near and our time is short, so you need to stock up and if you are getting ready for the collapse then you need to kick it into hing gear. I think the collapse will hit within the next 30-180 days. It may wait till after the new year but I think the bad shopping season will bring on the down fall. Some people don't have the money to pay for the rent, lights and other bills so many people will for-go the bills to buy the kids toy's for Christmas and this will be a spark to start the fire. My friends get yourself ready and stock up on items you need to survive because our time is short and evil is just over the hill and night is coming.

Fun Day....

Well today is a fun day for me and my wife. We are going to go up to applehill to get some apples. This is a place about 25 miles up Hwy 50 and a great little place to go for the day. They have great food, carmel apples, apple pies and much much more good food. Plus we can get a box or two of apples, and the apple cider is great. And one of the best things about this day is it will not break my bank, because it's not over priced like everything in CA.
As Andrea has said before in one of the comments she left at my blog, "You have to have fun from time to time" I'm not sure if that's her exact words but I think it was what she was saying. So I'm taking her advice and going on a fun day trip. So I'm off to look at home-made crafts and soaps and eat some great food. I hope everyone has a great day. Pete

More On Preps

I know most of us are working on our preps. If you are anything like me you never feel like you have enough of what you are stocking up on. When I get to a point that I feel like I'm getting close to having enough, it's at that point I look at what I have and think, "I could use two time what I have". I work on my preps every week and sometimes I do something with my preps everyday. One day it could be something as small as adding a few cans of soup that I got on sale and the next day it can be something as big as adding three or four 5 gallon buckets of salt, sugar or flour. Every day I add to my preps I feel a little better about my survival and the survival of my family. I was at Wal-Mart today and saw the LED clear lights I want to get after the Christmas shopping season I will watch for this item to be marked down. I got some glow sticks today from the markdown area, they were .25 cents a piece. I got 15 of them and I think I will go to the other Wal-Mart near me and see if they have any left.
Just keep it in your mind that when you are out and about keep an eye out for items you can use for survival. I always check out the markdown area. Last year I was at Wal-Mart and checked out the markdown area and found Mt. House freeze dried food the camping ones in the pouch. I bought all they had and checked all the stores near me and cleared them all out. So keep an eye out for deals and if you see something that is a seasonal item wait till they mark it down, so you can get the item you want and save money to.
And remember this year is going to be a bad shopping season so wait for the sales. I'm sure most stores will be running big sales as soon as they see the shopping season is going bad to worse. So just keep your eyes open and shop smart.

More Working On My Preps Today.....

This is my weekend to work, I have to work every other weekend. So I try to work on my preps a little before work. I move things and check dates and look over the items. I check the food saver bag to see if the seal of air is still in tact. I check the caned food and look over the cans for dents and to see if any have popped out.
Today I was looking over my deitz lanterns and checking the lantern fuel. I have a great stock of the fuel but I think I will get more. I don't think you can have to much lantern fuel. I plan on having light when TSHTF. I plan to live as good a life as I can, but I can only do that if I plan now and work hard to get myself ready. So I plan and work on my plan and then recheck my plan for holes. This is how we survivalist do things, we check and recheck till we get it right. And as we go on with life we see new things that we can add to our preps, so we then add the new item into the plan and it all starts over again. You just can't buy some survival items and put them in your back room and never check them. You have to add to them and rotate them and check them. Being a survivalist is hard work and work that is on going, but it will pay off 100 times the work you put into it.
All you have to do is look around yourself and see the world we live in. You know you need to get ready; and if you have not started may I ask you why not? Now is the time to start you may think it's to late but it's not. Everyday you put supplies away is one more day you made yourself more prepared. Start a plan to store food, water, medical supplies and household items you may need to survive a collapse. If you don't know where to start E-Mail me at californiasurvivalist2009@yahoo.com and put in the subject box of the E-Mail " Survival Start Help"
and I will give you as much help as I can. Start now with your preps, because our time is short and the evil is just over the hill and night is coming.

Working On My Preps

Was at CVS today and they had all of the Halloween items at 75% off. So i stopped and looked at the items and found a box set of 30 LED lights(Orange) The set has a bulb life of 25,000 hours and is 7.5 feet long. The best part is one set of 30 LED lights is 2.4watts(0.02 amps) so it will use very little power on my 12 volt power setup. I could use this set to have low light at night in a room or two in the house. I bought all they had and that was a total of 5 sets so that gives me 150 LED lights at 12 total watts and 0.10 amps. I think this will work well even on a small battery setup. I plan to build a battery cart with wheels so I can move it around and still plug it into the solar hookup to charge. I think I will look for Christmas lights after the shopping season and find them marked down. That way I may be able to find some in clear and I think the clear will put off even more light than the orange. I think the little things that we find are what will help make our days after the fall even better. The little item that now is just a little bit of junk could be a big deal in the post event of doom. Keep your eye's open and your ear to the ground because the evil is just over the hill and night is coming. And as always stock up on food, water and medical supplies!!!!

The Worst Is Yet To Come......

I saw today that the unemployment rate is at 10.2%, that's up from 9.8% in September. So the jobless rate is still going up, and food, gas, power, and every other item we use everyday is going up in price, but the economy is getting better as told by our leaders. This is BULL!!!! This country is on a down hill run at full speed and it will only stop when it hits the bottom. This crash will happen after this Christmas shopping is the worst in the history of this country. And the big job dump at the end or in the middle of the Christmas non-shopping season. I feel like this is the countries last dance. Most people will not see this coming, and the few that are ready will still have a hard time, but not as bad as the walking dead that think the Government will save them and make everything alright. If the walking dead are lucky they will wake up at the last second and be able to stock up on a few days or a weeks worth of food and water. But very few will do this and it's just a band aid to the problem. The survivalist who have stocked up for years and have ran over and over in there heads the crash many times will not have it easy. A hard road is before us and much work is left to do. I pray for our country and I pray for you fine people who have took the time to make yourself ready and safe to the evil that is just over the hill. And as I say every time I post, Stop and make the time to stock up on food, water, medical supplies and everyday household items you will need to survive the crash.
There is a dark evil just over the hill and night is coming, so stand ready.

Working On My Supplies

Well got up today and started to work on my preps. I am going to buy some more water today and maybe some butter to can. I see wal-mart has 1 lb of butter for $1.50, and here it sells for $2.25 and up for the everyday price. So I think I will get some of that butter. I plan to buy some more food saver bags today and start putting away more rice and beans. The way I do this works well for me, I bag up the rice in 1 lb bags and the beans into 2 lb bags. After I bag them I put them into a 5 gallon bucket and store them. I plan to eat well WTSHTF, and I plan for my family to eat well also. I spend time thinking of where my holes are in my prepping. I know I have them; we all do. I just hope the hole I have is one I can trade or barter for after the fall.
Looks as if the gold and silver prices are going up. That's good if you have it. I have a small amount of silver, but I put my money now into food, water, medical supplies and any household items I think we may need for the big fall.
As I do every time I post. I'm telling you all to get ready for the big fall, or the event of doom. The evil is just over the hill and night is coming!

A New Month And The Same Old Tyranny

Well our government is up to it's same old games. At one point in the last week or two I heard them say that the recession is over and we are on the way back up, and today I go to yahoo and read this,

Obama: Private, public sectors must create jobs
Obama: Job-creation is top priority as nation continues its economic recovery

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama said Monday the public and private sectors must find more ways to create jobs to continue the nation's climb out of an economic recession.

Obama said the economy has pulled back "from the brink" but still has a long way to go, especially in creating jobs. The president said job losses would continue for weeks and months to come and called for bold, innovative action by his administration, Congress and the private sector to create more good-paying jobs.

Obama made the remarks at the start of a White House meeting in the Roosevelt Room with economic advisers. The session was open to reporters and streamed live on the White House Web site.

He also said the U.S. must break out of a "debilitating gridlock on trade policy," by ending the false choice between a wide-open, free wheeling import policy or fearful, protectionist approach to trade. He called for a more balanced policy of letting the world know America wants to compete and trade -- fairly -- with anyone. He gave no specifics.

In opening remarks, Obama credited his stimulus package for recent upticks in economic numbers, including a significant boost in manufacturing that was reported on Monday.

But, he said, "The reason we're here today is because we just are not where we need to be yet. We've got a long way to go. We are still seeing production levels that are significantly below peak levels and most distressing is the fact that job growth continues to lag."
This was from AP at Yahoo

So let me get this right, we are out of the recession and have pulled back from the brink of doom. But we are going to keep losing jobs. And every month we get the news that the last month was worse than the one before. I just can't see how the recession is over; unless they are ready to admit that we are in a full depression. I think the worst is still down the road. Wait till this Christmas season is the worst in the last 50 years. Most of the people of this country can see the writing on the wall and know we are in big trouble. The people that don't see it are all fools. I think the economy is just about to pop. The FED and uncle sugar have pumped up the dollar and the stock market just about as much as they can and it's all about to go BOOM!!!
As I have always said, please get your house in order and stock as much ammo, food, water, medical supplies and household items as you can. Our time is getting very short and everyday we let slip by is a day we will never get back, so get your butt in gear and start to prep and if you are a prepper now then keep it up and kick it into high gear. The Evil is just over the hill and night is coming.

Be Prepared for the Worst

Be Prepared for the Worst
Ron Paul, 11.16.09
Forbes.com

Any number of pundits claim that we have now passed the worst of the recession. Green shoots of recovery are supposedly popping up all around the country, and the economy is expected to resume growing soon at an annual rate of 3% to 4%. Many of these are the same people who insisted that the economy would continue growing last year, even while it was clear that we were already in the beginning stages of a recession.

A false recovery is under way. I am reminded of the outlook in 1930, when the experts were certain that the worst of the Depression was over and that recovery was just around the corner. The economy and stock market seemed to be recovering, and there was optimism that the recession, like many of those before it, would be over in a year or less. Instead, the interventionist policies of Hoover and Roosevelt caused the Depression to worsen, and the Dow Jones industrial average did not recover to 1929 levels until 1954. I fear that our stimulus and bailout programs have already done too much to prevent the economy from recovering in a natural manner and will result in yet another asset bubble.

Anytime the central bank intervenes to pump trillions of dollars into the financial system, a bubble is created that must eventually deflate. We have seen the results of Alan Greenspan's excessively low interest rates: the housing bubble, the explosion of subprime loans and the subsequent collapse of the bubble, which took down numerous financial institutions. Rather than allow the market to correct itself and clear away the worst excesses of the boom period, the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Treasury colluded to put taxpayers on the hook for trillions of dollars. Those banks and financial institutions that took on the largest risks and performed worst were rewarded with billions in taxpayer dollars, allowing them to survive and compete with their better-managed peers.

This is nothing less than the creation of another bubble. By attempting to cushion the economy from the worst shocks of the housing bubble's collapse, the Federal Reserve has ensured that the ultimate correction of its flawed economic policies will be more severe than it otherwise would have been. Even with the massive interventions, unemployment is near 10% and likely to increase, foreigners are cutting back on purchases of Treasury debt and the Federal Reserve's balance sheet remains bloated at an unprecedented $2 trillion. Can anyone realistically argue that a few small upticks in a handful of economic indicators are a sign that the recession is over?

What is more likely happening is a repeat of the Great Depression. We might have up to a year or so of an economy growing just slightly above stagnation, followed by a drop in growth worse than anything we have seen in the past two years. As the housing market fails to return to any sense of normalcy, commercial real estate begins to collapse and manufacturers produce goods that cannot be purchased by debt-strapped consumers, the economy will falter. That will go on until we come to our senses and end this wasteful government spending.

Government intervention cannot lead to economic growth. Where does the money come from for Tarp (Treasury's program to buy bad bank paper), the stimulus handouts and the cash for clunkers? It can come only from taxpayers, from sales of Treasury debt or through the printing of new money. Paying for these programs out of tax revenues is pure redistribution; it takes money out of one person's pocket and gives it to someone else without creating any new wealth. Besides, tax revenues have fallen drastically as unemployment has risen, yet government spending continues to increase. As for Treasury debt, the Chinese and other foreign investors are more and more reluctant to buy it, denominated as it is in depreciating dollars.

The only remaining option is to have the Fed create new money out of thin air. This is inflation. Higher prices lead to a devalued dollar and a lower standard of living for Americans. The Fed has already overseen a 95% loss in the dollar's purchasing power since 1913. If we do not stop this profligate spending soon, we risk hyperinflation and seeing a 95% devaluation every year.

Ron Paul is a Republican congressman from Texas.
