We stressed over it, like most drones at the thought of losing the credit ratings and the baubles and trinkets, but we knew we'd be ok. We were emotionally, mentally ready. We knew we'd be free and could step over into a life we actually wanted, even if the timing wasn't of our choosing. We were sort of forced into a prepper existence, which we only worked for sort of haphazardly before. It catapulted us into the lifestyle we wanted. I should thank them for that, but they suck, so I wont.

I had neighbors who were devastated to lose their homes/lifestyles. Of course they lived, but they had to move in on relatives and they have struggled with it horribly. One family divorced. It was all too much. How sad.

It hasn't been bad for us. Quite the opposite, actually. The transition was a little rough on my husband, but now we love it. People said we'd hate it and come back to our senses. How do you deal with an attitude like that?? Me? Come back to MY senses? Ok.

Well, anyway, great post. :)Representativehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05811793207369399757noreply@blogger.com
